  1. @dishes I see your from Toronto Canada im planning to move there as a Canadian citizen am from USA . what can you tell me about the patients ,dynamics ,the departments. what department you work? just curious hope you don't mind. im just excited about the Canadian dynamics but I don't knw if I will go through it all Canada requires too much to be a practicing RN
  2. Belladonna2U I am an RN from Chicago Illinois. I sent in my application for citizenship to be Canadian due to my father being Canadian. I was doing the process of the NNAS but I stopped and did not pay because I think it would be a better idea to get my BSN which I don't have yet to get proper eval. I did talk to NNAS and stated I might need to take a few Canadian nursing classes in Canada. this is what makes me not want to do it. how has your experience gone so far ? im planning to go to Toronto. thanks!
  3. Do you have to have microsoft word? I don't ??
  4. well for me and so many students that failed said it was the teacher lectured this and gave the exam on that. up the passinghe teacher threw us off the school has a 13% passing rate thanks to an amneesty passed for hesi people that failed in the past 5 years.so this made them make the test harder im guessing to bring up the passing rate for nclex.I always studied and knew my stuff like a pro etc but to every ones amazement and mys it didnt show in the exams which i got 72 75 and a 59 which were ridiculous to me and well i dnt know what else to do but withdrawl thanks for the 2nd time around tahing. makes me feel good to know that its a fact on your side of town.I have so many books to review but as every one else says do questions.Im good with drugs i love pharm i have my own way of knowing drugs so its not difficult for me can you give me a link to the book your talking about thanks for your response sorry for the run-ons and no grammatical corrections no spell check
  5. HI all fellow nursing peps Well I withdrew from my advanced med/surg this march 2011 I was supposed to graduate may 2011 out of maybe 20 students only 9 passed(from one class 2 classes in total ) me and another student were the only ones that withdrew from our class. I am not sad, but lost and confused I really don't know what to do.I passed the opportunity to take it this Summer because its accelerated and its not regular spread out time to really study, this is my last chance so I had to wait till jan 2012 (to take my last and final rotation advanced medsurg).Has anyone else failed/withdrew or had to go through the same as I am and what did you guys do to do better the second time around like what sources books, ATI,NCLEX, I have my own personal library of books that ima review over till jan 2012 etc WHATS A FEW DIFFERENT THINGS DONE THAT WERENT DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE anything can help and will be so happy ill be checking here to thanks

  14. I understand the issues u mentioned but your father being a drunk and u staying with him would have you be stress free from having to work and pay bills that will require u to work full time based on your spending lifestyle. but then again your dad is also another stressor, add me up at facebook got sum great links on ma page and we can share ideas on nursing curricula as the NCLEX can be just anything but what jst one institution teaches bye
