Ok...so I failed Chemistry. And I'm really depressed about it. I mean, in all my other classes I did relatively good (except Stats, but most of the people in that class failed and we're almost 100% sure that had to do with the teacher, not the students) At my school, I heard Chemistry was one of the hardest classes to take there. I, obviously, need it for my nursing prereqs but right now I'm just so bummed about. It's my first year in College and the fact that I'm not doing so well makes me want to reconsider what major I'm going into. Any advice?

I wanted to take Chemistry during the summer (I unfortunately failed it this past semester:cry:), but the school I'm going to doesn't offer it during the summer. So instead I'm taking: Biological Sciences110 Psychology101

I'm working on Pre-Reqs so I can try to get into my school's BSN Program for Fall 2010. After that, I hope to get my master's so I can be an NP.

I choose "other" I don't know my father so I can't say if I'm his first born or If he was an Alcoholic.:uhoh21: First Born to my mother, she has issues. I was raised by my great-granddaddy and he was an alcoholic.

Science is the only thing that kept me interested throughout my childhood. I also want to help others. Health care just called out to me. At first, my major was premed then I learned nursing gives you a variety of fields to work in and the world needs more nurses anyways. This summer I plan to do volunteer work at a hospital and I hope I can job shadow a nurse!

Hey Everybody. I'm in my second semester of college and I have Chem this semester... Took my first exam and bombed:crying2: I still have time to turn it around, everyone I talked to who had the class last semester said they all failed the first exam and they ended up getting a 3.0 They even said I did "fairly good" (If still failing the exam is "fairly good" ) considering...

2.568:cry: Yea. I know that's pretty bad, but this is like my first semester in college ever! I defintely trying harder this semester in order to raise my GPA.
