  1. I would contact HR and inquire... Let them know the job ID # and they should be able to give you some info...good luck.
  2. This breaks my heart, this is why I can't work Geri
  3. Thanks for sharing..really needed to read this today!
  4. I've always thought going into the Criminal law field would be awesome. Or social work. I've always wanted to own my own boutique/ flower shop too :)
  5. Seeing the bond between child and parent, so precious! Not to mention seeing babies smile..especially those big gummy ones. The random things kids say, their many questions, their bluntness.I love peds!
  6. Untrue. Silliest thing I've heard today
  7. Good luck!!! What kinds of experiences did you have during your preceptorship? I'm interested in the NICU. :)
  8. I agree with you. The reason why I didn't broaden out my response was because I peruse this forum with my phone generally. I agree with what you're saying. In my experience I was never bored, but that was because the location I was at had some severe psychiatric cases. The reason why I said to reorient the patient was because as a student I had difficulty doing just that. But I do agree that not all patients can be reoriented.
  9. Shake your hands and take some nice deep steady breaths, try not to focus on others if you're being observed. Deep down you know how to do the skill so just have confidence in yourself while maintaining patient safety and privacy. Good luck.
  10. Try to reorient the patient as best as you can.
  11. It seems like your feelings are hurt. However I don't think you should let little things get to you, such as the gift thing, and the bulletin board thing..that seems a little childish. Maybe she doesn't know you're feelings are being hurt? Are you letting this affect your work performance?Just try your best at your job and keep your focus on your patients,
  12. I don't know how you moms do it! Congrats and good luck on the NCLEX :)
  13. Great advice Piglet!
