  1. umm... we use 3 bags of PNSS if it's reuse. 2 PNSS and 1 heparinized PNSS... We do the priming w/ PNSS and then the heparinized one... the other PNSS we use the rest of HD... If we're going to use a new dialyzer, it's just 2 PNSS...
  2. hello! i'm taking my nclex on april 21st! i'm reviewing my kaplan course book and later the Question Bank! i have 43 days to go! Need to study more!
  3. what state did u apply? in my case, i applied for nclex for vermont. i paid the $200 online. then pearsonvue will give u a candidate id number thru email. you email or send the candidate id number via email or postcard. I send mine thru email and after a few hours I received my ATT. I don't know how long with the postcard. Once you receive your ATT, the validity date is for 90 days, and the date starts tomorrow. for example. you received your att today january 24. The dates that you will be choosing from will be january 25 - april 25. Hope this helps.
  4. sad to say we're in the philippines. however, i'm guilty of this. no, i didn't get my job because of a backer... i got my job on my own. way before i was a student, submitting applciations to the prc was a big hassle! My friends had been lining up for the PRc for a few days already, some even a few weeks... My mother howver had a close friend working there who works second in rank to the director... I got my application processed in a day. Of course, they still have to check whether my requirements are complete but thank god i finished my scrubs late since I knew all the corrections already for the application process and if there are any additional requirements after that. Sorry.
  5. Lots of pains of reviewing... Our clinical instructors started our review for NLE in August 2006 till December or something. It was tough then coz we're still having duty. Then after that a review with RCAP. After that, we were housed in our university dorm for review until the day of the board exam in June 2007... We got 99% passing rate! yehey. We never get to go malling anymore, never get to have fun... I get paranoid sometimes while in the university dorm, coz our school always gave us reviews from 8Am till 5Am, rosaries in the evening, and lots of exam drills at night that I didn't get to review things myself. NCLEX? Ugh... one word. Expensive. It hurts me financially. Anyway, I'm over that. Finally got my exam scheduled on April... :yelclap:
  6. hm... i think you should take the test first... maybe if you're on vacation, you wouldn't really enjoy it very much coz of the big day that's fast approaching... :chuckle
  7. I had some lost cases once... it wasn't really lost though... i didn't copy them in the first place... i just went to the Operating Room or Delivery Room... They all have a big logbook which they write the name of the patients, age, other info including the name of the student nurse and the name of the staff nurse and circulating nurse who handled the case. If it's impossible to get the data from OR/DR, i think she should go to the Hospital's Medical Records. She should have the dates in hand and the name of her patient. If she doesn't have those, she would be looking for a needle in a haystack... And then, if ALL things fail (ugh), request the clinical instructor to let her go on duty, and then start all over again...
  8. ugh... how did you go about in scheduling it? do they still have to confirm the date that i've chosen? where r u from?
  9. :chuckle: i was worried about the id number... i'm a bit of a procrastinator... i think i would choose the second to the last day, too. LOL. april 21... very big day! have you finished taking the exam?
  10. i registered w/ pearson vue last week. just a few hours ago, i decided to send the candidate id number to vermont via email(they receive emails now)... and OMG. the vermont website said that after the email, i should wait 10 days to recieve my eligibility... ugggggghhh! after a few hours i've spent online, i've noticed an unread email! and tada! it's from the [email protected] ---->my nclex ATT!!! what a shock! omg... omg!!!! huhuhuhu... my validity dates are within january 22 and april22! I'm was hoping for april 22... is there any problem with choosing the last day of the valid dates? do they give test on sundays?
  11. I have registered for the nclex rn for vermont. after registering online, pearsonvue gave me the id number through the email that i provided during registration...
  12. I just registered through the internet today... and i received my candidate id number. i'm applying for the vermont nclex. i still have to send my candidate id number through email to vermont (they now accept emails). my question is... is there a time limit of some kind as to when you should email the candidate id number to vermont? should i email it right away? or is it okay to wait a few weeks and send it?:redpinkhe
