I just graduated, and I did my senior clinicals on a renal/dialysis floor. I have a question I've been pondering for a while now. This concerns dialysis pt.'s. Fact: Dialysis pt's have little to no urinary output so most are on some type of fluid restrictions. Question: How do you maintain pt's hydration if pt. is febrile or experiencing nausea- is hospital admit & IV therapy the only solution?

I kinda understand how you feel, it's kinda like ok what now, but like one of the other post mentioned I believe it's due to all the adrenaline decreasing now. You know although I'm appreciative of my accomplishments and new role, I've not had much time to enjoy it yet. It really hasn't sunk in yet that I actually have a career now. One things for sure, whether good or bad, change is hard for anyone. So keep that in mind with all the patient teaching you'll be doning. Good luck!!!

I just graduated and I've already started the pre registration for the NCLEX required through our school (application, passport, background check, etc..) I also know that you must register and pay $200 for the NCLEX registration. However, once this is done do you then receive the ATT and how long does that usually take to receive? And then do you choose a date to test and how far in advance is it usually set? After testing how long does it take to receive results? Thanks:yeah:

Hi, I just graduated today and I'm going to work in the Med- Surg unit for my 1st job. I believe this will really help me get better with time management along with other things.

Congratulations:D!!! I just got pinned last night. I graduated TODAY . Now I'm looking forward to student loans... in other words It's time to go to WORK.
