  1. I tried the pearson vue trick and it stopped me from registering a 2nd time, and I just found out that passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!So it does work!
  2. Miami Jacobs here in Dayton isn't accredited or something like that...Miami university doesn't have waiting lists.
  3. kettering is faith based. I attend Miami University in Middletown, just about 35 minutes down 75s. Its affordable and they have a pretty good reputation.
  4. I have no personal experience with the LPN to ADN bridge, but several of them have joined our class this semester.
  5. CONGRATS TJ_MEDIC_RN:yeah:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  6. Some places have graduate nurse positions. This is where we can practice under a RN
  7. You already have to be licensed before you start their program. I'm a PCT there.
  8. I noticed a typo i made :wink2:
  9. Hey, I know this!! Learned it in my first clinical rotation. This is a really good idea. I'll never forget it.
  10. I know that almost all of them do, but I am interested in the ones that will allow you to work before you pass boards. I know that KMC network has one, Fort Hamilton, and University Hospital. It may take awhile before I am able to sit for boards, because apparently OHIO is a little behind. I don't want to go too long after graduation still working as a PCT seeing how I've worked my butt off in nursing school.
  11. I'll be graduating May 09. I have been a STNA for the past 5 years off and on. Now for each STNA job I did the exact same thing, do I still need to place the same job description under each STNA job?
  12. I've spoken to other nurses who had the same difficulties finding jobs during nursing school. B/C our hours of availability are so restricted. I know what you are going through, but before u know it, you'll be graduation.
  13. I'm not sure whether my school has a maternity leave for nurses either. I was pregnant my entire first year, finish it up on time and everything. Never missed a clinical. There are ways to work around it. I haven't read all the posts and not really sure if this has already been mentioned but u can do it. Nurses work all the time pregnant.
  14. well I violated, probably the biggest one in the list...LOL. I was pregnant going into nursing school and didn't know it!!! Gave birth to my second daughter right before finals in the second semester of my ADN. I managed to stay focused though, I'm will graduate May 10, 2009 YaYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYy
