  1. You deserve it! Congrats!
  2. Hi OP! I'm reading the post and saw that there a lot of negative feedback's here. I cant help but make a comment. Here's an advice. DON'T GIVE UP! DON'T LOSE HOPE AND KEEP ON TRYING! It doesn't make u bad nurse if you have taken NCLEX a lot of times. There are a lot of great nurses who took it a lot of times and there are a lot of nurses who passed once and end up jobless. Don't let passing dictate your happiness. I graduated in the Philippines also and I'm preparing to take my NCLEX-RN exams. My sister, a RN (now a NP) for 15 years also graduated in the Philippines, took the boards once and passed it. You have to think that this is just a test. Don' let it rule your life. If you fail, cry if you must but u have to move on. Assess your self if u are going into something like having a baby, getting married, heart broken, death of a love one, etc, you have to finish this first because you cannot focus if your mind is thinking of it. Check the results mailed to you. Look at your strength and weakness and study that. If you are poor in comprehensive, go study the book again and study the questions related to that chapter. Example if u read the GI systems, do questions related to the GI systems. Do at least 150 q's a day. Don't move to the next topic unless your scores are more than 75% (or whatever you wanted it to be). It doesn't matter what book, online review or q&a u are using, just stick to 2 books/cd: one for comprehensive and one for q&a's. Exercise at least 20 mins a day, take breaks, eat healthy and PRAY. Make a schedule and stick to it. If you are working, quit your job or do part time only and just focus in studying. Do this for 2-3 months. Don't take it longer because you'll get bored after. Do this religiously because when you are ready you wont feel stressed or have test anxiety, you will feel confident. DON'T LET ANYONE KNOW YOU ARE TAKING THE EXAM. Just surprise them when u passed. I hope this helps you. WE CAN DO THIS! GOOD LUCK!
  3. Congrats!! You deserve it
  4. congratulations!
  5. I took Kaplan twice and failed. I am now just sticking to Saunders and NCLEX 4000. I dont want to spend anything but will increase my time in studying. Good luck
  6. I'm sorry to hear that you got same thing as I did. I cried the whole day. This is my nth time taking this exam that's why I feel so upset. I then told myself that I can do this and have made a plan to do my studying tonight.
  7. I got same message yesterday. I then checked early this morning still the same. Then few hours ago, i got a bad pop up.
  8. I got same message when I went I did the PVT. I hope this is a good sign. Keeping my fingers crossed.
  9. I did same thing and they wont give me a refund. I have to process and pay the retake application and pearsonvue again.
  10. Congratulations! I'm soon taking my exam too. Got tons of questions... How did you know that you're ready for the exam? How many hours did u study in a day? What did u do 3 weeks, 2 weeks and a week before the exam? Thanks :)
  11. Thanks for the post! Im also reviewing both Hurst and Kaplan now.
  12. Congrats! :)
  13. How many months have u prepared for the exam?
  14. Thanks Audacia. I only have Hurst as my compre and Kaplan for my Q&A. I dont know where I did wrong but I think I need a break. Maybe Im just too tried of doing all these. I do my qtrainers everyday before now I do it once every 2 days. am I doing it the wrong way. I went back to reading again.
  15. Hi, I don't know whats wrong. Let me tell you the whole story. This is my 3rd time taking the exam. I tried using Saunders, NCSBN and Kaplan live before. Hurst was the only one where I almost passed the exam. Right now I'm sticking to Hurst for my compre and Kaplan for my Q&A. My qbank score was 55%, QT1 56%, QT2 62%, QT3 51% QT4 51%. I'm supposed to take my exam 2.5 months after studying but when I tried the Kaplan readiness test, my scores were really low (48%) so I rescheduled again for another two weeks. I know its hard since I am a mom and I work full time (40 hrs a week). I studied again and 2 days before my exam I'm having a panic attack. My qbank score was 51%, QT1 56%, QT2 62%, QT3 51% QT4 51%. I tried to suppress it but I don't know how. I tried eating and eating 'cause i thought it might help but it got worst. I also took the readiness test and this time it was lower than my previous test (42%). I don't know whats wrong but I don't want to take the exam just because I want to get over with it and I'm on a limited budget right now. So this time I rescheduled it again for another 2months. I then tried reading Saunders and when I did the Qbank my scores were really low. Lower than ever. My qbank score was 48%, whenever I took the qbank q&a's my scores before when I first started 4 months ago were on the upper 50% to 65% but now my scores were like on the 30%. I don't know whats wrong. Will someone help me? I will appreciate any suggestions.
  16. Congrats! Thanks for sharing this. :)
  17. :yeah:Congratulations!:yeah:Hi Kathy. I want to know what are your study materials and how did you manage studying since you're working? Thanks
  18. :w00t: Congrats!
  19. Hi Brownsugar40! Thanks.. I know we will need a lot of support and courage to start all over again. I am doing Hurst review online and Q&A's.
  20. Thanks Adavis14 and Dumplins for the encouragement. I will make sure I will pass the NCLEX this year. To Joe: Im so happy for you. I hope I will be the next one to post here that I passed. Thanks for all the help
  21. Yes PVT really works. What kind of simulation is it? (Sorry if I ask, English is my 3rd language) Did u do a lot of q&a's? Or u just focused on the hurst lectures? I started studying again yesterday. Can you pls share me your materials? I hope I will make the next time taking it. Congratulations again!
