  1. good luck lady_anne76. Get out of the library and get some rest. stay positive and focused. I'm sure you'll do great!
  2. well... here I am... waiting for my results. No matter how many times you've taken this test.... the waiting part never gets easier! I took my test yesterday. I shut off somewhere between 230-240 questions. I'm not really sure what to say for this.... I felt better prepared, I took my time and read each question and answer. I had 3 SATA, no calculations- the only thing I remember is my last question, the options and what I chose (which I have verified was correct-totally crazy of me) Are post surgery care questions considered easy or hard???
  3. please include me in your prayers. I will be taking the test for third time on Novermber 24. I'm so nervous... I have a pitt in my stomach already.
  4. i will be taking the test of the 3rd time as well....I must say that it was really discouraging at first... studying again...but I have gotten through it. I have scheduled my exam for next week but now the anxiety has started to set in. I'm starting to feel like I dont know anything at all... or maybe not enough, even though I have studied everyday for a month and half. I score well on practice exams, meds are a bit challenging for me. Still feel like I dont know all of them and that this will probably mess me up. Have all of you felt this way the week before? Should I reschedule the exam?
  5. congratulations!! I will be taking my exam for the third time too and hope to finally see the word "PASS" as my result. Best of luck to you.
  6. congrats
  7. I'm a big fan of menmonics. He's one I learned in school. It related to fluid/electrolytes ROME R= respiratory O= opposite M= metabolic E= equal
  8. I'm sorry you didnt pass.... Stay positive and confident. I took kaplan to prep my first time around. You may want to try Suzanne's program. I'm actually finding it much more helpful than kaplan. good luck!
  9. Great Story! Congrats!!!
  10. i only remember getting 1 peds question and it was a calculation question.
  11. i know how you feel. Keep your chin up and try and remember that nothing is impossible.
  12. oh my goodness... this list is great. This is really helpful! thanks!
  13. hang in there... I know exactly how you feel. I didnt pass 2 weeks ago, my first time, and felt very discouraged. I gave myself a week and then started studying again. The only way to get through the disspointment is to remain confident in yourself. We must have odviously done something right to have graduated from nursing school.... it's just a matter of focusing on the net hurdle.
