  1. Hi Cornelius, I see that you do travel nursing and just got accepted. Congrats. I have been working in the MICU at a hospital in DC since 11/11 and was thinking about doing travel nursing, of course as an ICU RN but I was wondering if this would affect my applications to CRNA negatively? Who did you approach for recommendation letters? I could still approach my current manager but do schools consider experience in ICU as a travel RN? Thanks
  2. Hi, I'm looking to start in the April or May of this year too. We'll see what happens.
  3. Goodluck to all who are interviewing today!
  4. So the deadline for application is February 1st correct? (the October 1st was for priority admission?)
  5. Anyone care to answer?
  6. Congrats to everyone that got in...when did everyone start applying. I think priority deadline is in October but I think I saw march 1st somewhere...not sure. It might be the DNP
  7. not every school requires a BSN though right?
  8. Hi all, Im wondering when would be the best time to start applying to CRNA schools. I have a BS in biology with a not so great GPA, less than 3.0. I obtained my ADN with a 3.45 GPA in 5/2010, worked in telemetry from 7/2010 until 11/2011. Got into a MICU 11/2011 and have been there since. I plan on taking the CCRN this year or early next yr and possibly the GRE. I also started a BSN which I plan to complete by next year. Should I start applying this year or wait until everything is completed and apply next year? Thoughts? I also have BLS and ACLS
