I pushed it to April 30th becauses the date I had started with was too early to complete her plan. She said the first date that would meet her requirements would be the 19th of April. So After I changed it I sent her another pm with the new date. And haven't heard from her. I assumed I was on the list because on a thread it said that If there was no response the I was on her list.

Well it's the 2nd and I guess maybe I didn't make it on suzanne's list. I'm so stressed out ! something about knowiing others had used it an passed made me feel better. So I have to figure something out I really need help so all comments will be appreciated. I take my test in April.

I too I have failed the nclex:cry: but I found suzanne's plan on this website. Many others on this site have used her plan, some after many times of taking it and have passed. I'm tring to do the plan now but you should look into it maybe it will help. Good Luck

Yes I think you should wear your gloves even for that, anything that includes pt contact, including taking vitals. Even if you think you will be okey ,to your knowlege that is. Standerd precaution should be used at all times for everyone for your safety and your client's. And if the client asks why then you will be able to tell them that its done with everyone not just them.

Hey Guys I'm currently studing for pn boards I'm having trouble studing for pharmacology. Does anyone have any tips for me , maybe? I'm using the Saunder's edition i've taken boards before this is not my strong subject pleases help if you can. Thanks

At first I thought it was A. But then I read D over and you wouldn't stop using humor. I think that when they say "challange" they mean to reorient the client when he is confused which would be the right thing to do. It's more like challange his distorted thinking, not in a forcefull way. So I would go with D

OMG that is so crazy. And it's makes you wounder how many mistakes and lies actually go on? That goes to show you that if at all possible to be aware of your surroundings. I had surgery not to long ago and thank God my aunts and mother were there with me,they are all nurses in fact my mom spent the night the whole time I was there. Hi TWU actually has a Fast track BS program. If you currently hold a Bachlors in anything else you can do the fast track and gain a BS in nursing in about 1 year http://www.twu.edu/nursing/fast-track.asp. As long as you have these a few basics like chem, micro, govt, his, A&P hist, stats. They honor you degree and give you credit for those basic classes in year you will be elligable to sit for RN boards. I hope that helps good luck:mad:

Amen to that! I havent taken boards yet but I've been in the field for awhile and YES people this is real. Patients will blame you for troulbes with them or thier home issues. Dr's will talk to you in all kinds ways and tones and fashions, some will insult your intelligence and inform the pt of your incompatence. But if you have a good charge nurse of manager and if you did nothing wrong they will have your back. Don't get me wrong there are many nice Dr's out there that are good people and I've across many as well as nice patients.

I understand exactly what ur saying. Alot of people who are not a nurse or planning to be one know anything about it and think that when you say "I plan to study the whole weekend", its some sort of excuse. I lost a boyfriend during my 2nd semester of nursing school. He was always saying he didnt understand why I had to go to school 8hrs a day,study for like 4hours a day and still need the weekend to study. And he always wanted me to go over to his house and study and I'm like thats impossible. He didn't get that I had a quiz everyday and 2 test atleast every week. Nursing school is especially hard because you not only responsible for the care of your patients but your also responsible for the care that your CNA gives as well as looking over DR orders to make sure it's appropriate because if the dr order's something wrong as a nurse your responsible for pt well being and if you give an inappropriate drug your in trouble. A hospital will fire 10 nurses before they will let 1 dr go. And as a person I couldn't live with myself if I caused harm to someone even if it was a mistake . I love nursing and its what I'm passionate about and I know others agree with me. Keep up the good work.

Yes I've had immunizations I got them in elementry and I got my hep shots when I started nursing school.
