MARIE yes it s that. You have to get 15posts in the forum and do the first tip so it means take the quizz at the end of the chapiter. if you have 75% do another one otherwise read the course and do again the questions. After you are done with that and get your 15posts you can send to suzanne a pm and ask her for her 2nd tip. She send it two times per month 1st and 15th if i remember correctly what she told me. So finish that then you can talk to her. Ok? Nini

Hi Marie I would like to take it in January too.......i guess i am going to be concentrated just on few books like the 4th with Suzanne's plan and i have a Kaplan book too (so rereading again) and maybe take NCSBN online, is not expensive and you can get all the courses and many questions who are the same that the NCLEX ( who can read some girls used it and passed it) Do you have a chat address like msn maybe it will be easier to share our stuff? just an idea......let me know........ Hi marie, i am in the same case than you.......i am foreigned educated nurse, i am living in CA since one year and a half now. I failed on my first test this last October and i have to study all over. i am also dissapponted but we need to do it and i know we can do it. Like some of them said, we are foreigner so there is just 40% who can do it the first time. It s not our cultur and our language so it s hard for us even for Amercians so don't be upset and be confident for the next time. Silverdragon I am living in the US since one year and half but i cannot spend to much time even if the retrogression is here, i cannot stay without doing my job, i am loosing my skills. It s hard to study for some exams that we know it won't give you the possibility to work before few years... Virginie

silverdragon102 So it means no windows is open for foreign nurses to work in USA at this moment. I know there is the retrogression but when do you think it will be good? i aso know that i am not alone and many are before me. I spoke with one private hospital in my state, i spoke with the manager and she told me that after my exam and when i will get my license she can sponsorize me and give me a work visa. Do you think she told me wrong? She told me that she knows for the retrogression but each hospital do whatever they want. I am kind of lost because when i read all the informations here it looks like no way is possible and open for foreign nurses in USA, so why we continue ... Thanks again Virginie

I would to work even if it was 2years. How can you get your work visa? how can this visa stop after 2years? the hospital cannot sponsor you even if the retrogression is here? I am a French foreign nurse and i took my exam in October6th, i failed so i feel sad but i know i can do it, so i am ready to study more. How did you study? how many time? it s hard for me because i am working beside every day and i have also my English exam to do, i don't know if two exams in the same time is good, but in the other side i don t want to lose time anymore. Hello, I am will be also very interested about Suzanne's plan. I took my NCLEX exam and i just learnt that i failed. I am so sad but i already ready to study again. I learnt about Suzanne's plan, i also began just after i did my exam with her first tip, i knew that i was bad during the test, so i didn't lose time. i want to be ready for the second time, i want to do everything to pass. hi there, my name is virginie, i come from france. i was nurse over there for 4years. i arrived in california next year. the first time, i sent my folder to the board of nursing in california. they asked me to go in a nursing school to do again one unit (obstetric courses) because apparently my level was not enough. thing very strange because i have some friends in sf, she sent the same folder and she didnt have to do this unit. i am kind of upset because i lost my time. but i didn't have choice. i have just some questions. i called some laywer to help me but i am still with some questions. i know after my unit, i have to pass my nclex, my toefl for having my visa screen. but after that, what i have to do, i am a foreigner nurse with a student visa. i can t work without a work visa. so, i have to go again see a lawyer and change my papers, but they told me i have to wait one year because the government doesn't deliver work visas until next april. is it true? they also told me, i can be sponsorize by an hospital. but there is someone who know which hospital can do that in california or somewhere esle? i am kind of lost. i can't wait one more year without working in my job. if someone can help me, it will be very great. thanks a lot. virginie
