Anyone Up For Random FACT THROWING??
i passed the nclex!!!!!!!!!! i still can't believe it. i had a lot of pt. teaching questions and maybe only like 4 sata. i had around 112 questions. i took my time and read the questions very carefully. this thread really really helped me. make sure you look over infection control and prioritizing questions. many many prioritizing questions and teaching questions. they want to make sure you can be a safe nurse. think safety, safety, safety. i had no math questions but make sure you know how to do them. i had friends that had several. keep up with this thread b/c it is amazing. do suzannes plan b/c it really gets you organized and incontrol of your studying. good luck to everyone waiting to take the exam.

Anyone Up For Random FACT THROWING??
Just a FYI when reading a question make sure you read it carefully. I know everyone knows this but I just read a question and thought it said pulmonary embolism and it was pulmonary edema. I read over the question to fast and got the question wrong. Nursing actions are different for the two problems. Keep your mind in the question and don't read to fast or you can miss read the question like it did.

Anyone Up For Random FACT THROWING??
Hello everyone, I'm new to this thread, but have read through most it. Just want to say I love the idea and it has helped me. One question, I came across a question on about pneumonia and what side to place the pt. I found from an NCLEX review that you place the pt. on the affected side to relieve pain. Any thougts on this would be great.

June 2008 NCLEX support group
Hello Everyone!! I'm going to be a June test taker or maybe even July. I took my first NCLEX test in March and got 135 questions and failed. I'm doing Suazanne's plan and I really like it. I took some time off of studying b/c I was just so tired and down after I failed. So I got myself back up and started to do the studying thing all over again. The best of luck studying to everyone.

Eri Review
Is it the same as the ERIWORLD. I had to take this review for my school and from what you said it sounds like the same review. It was not helpful for me. Most of my classmates left after lunch on the first day as well. I believe in Sauzanne's plan but I can not leave anything I started so I stayed for the four days just to say I finished it. Good luck on the retest. I too am taking it for the second time in June.

saunders 3rd edition vs 4th edition??
Hello I would always go with the most current edition. The NCLEX exam changed some in April 2007. So that is why there is the 4th edition of Saunders. Yes the systems like the heart and kidney will not change but the format of the questions will change. To be best prepared for this test use the 4th edition.

I dont know if I can go on...
WOW Racingmom4!!! I have been on this forum for about a month and I have never been so touched and moved by someones response as I was to your's. The way you write just brings you in and the encouragement that you bring really moved me. I too failed my first attempt in March and it took me awhile to get back into the studying. Thank you so much for writing what you did because it gave me hope and it made me feel that I too can become and RN.

i failed my first, and im traumatized!
Hello posh1104- welcome to the forum. I too took my first test in March and didn't pass with 135 questions. I took a few weeks off to get myself together. I started Suazanne's plan and just finished the first step. I'm waiting to get the mailing for the second step May 1. I have heard some really great things about her program. Lots of people have passed b/c of her. There are a lot of retesters here and we are all here for each other. Just hang in there and we will all get through it.

NCLEX -NCSBN review class.....
I took the NCSBN and I felt really good about my progress. I was doing really well on the tests and I was reading all the lessons. When I went to take the NCLEX and after about 10 questions in I realized the questions in the NCSBN were nothing like the NCLEX questions. How could this be! These are the people who give the NCLEX. I felt very cheated and upset. Some people may find it helpful but it didn't prepare me at all. NCSBN doesn't have a lot of SATA or prioritizing queations. I also had a friend using it as well and said the same thing. I like Suanders and Kaplan. It is all about what feels right for you.

May Nclex takers...come and join hands...
I think I understand what you are saying. I'm just a little confused. I studying with the Saunders and I would like to try your system. If you can explain it again for me that would really help and be very appreciated.
