  1. Good luck on your test keep us posted as to how you do.
  2. In illinois it took 3 to 4 weeks to get the ATT then 2 days for quick results.. Good luck
  3. So I found out today that I failed my 1st attempt at the NCLEX. I am so angry right now, I am not even sure that I want to try again. I had 110 questions with at least 40 of them SATA, Med heavy along with infection control. I just want to get on wth my life and my family, i have a 4 y/o and a 2y/o, and I feel like I dot even remember the 2 y/o life as I have been in school the last 2 1/2 years, I need to start making money to catch up on bills, my story is like most on here, but I really feel like a total failure. I dont know what to do to get started to retake or even how long you have to wait in Illinois....I really just wanted to be done and move on.
  4. Does the hospital that you are looking to work at have an in house daycare? I am aware that some do and the ones I have seen the hours are 6a till 7p...Good luck

  11. I agree with the two previous post, when i was just about your age i thought i just wanted to do the medical assistant thing, so i went to sanford brown and all these years later i have finally finished nursing school and NONE of my credits transfered and i am STILL paying them people back.....Think long and hard, if i had it to do over again i would do the commuinty college road, better education for a lot less money...Good luck in what ever you choose.:nuke:

  13. Hi I was offered a GN position in the trauma division at BJH, I was just curious if anyone has woked there and if so what do they think of it and for a GN. Thanks
  14. [color=lime] congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:heartbeat
  15. :no:Hi everyone I just have some questions, I was offered my 1st job today, I finished classes the 1st week of March. They are offering me a position as a student nurse until I sit for boards at a rate of $14/hr with a $1/hr shift diff, also they say they will pay for boards and a review class. After boards they will increase the rate to $16/hr until I start their RN residency then $18, my issue is that another hospial starting pay is $18/hr plus time and a half for the weekend option (which is what I would like) and you can work at that wage as an aide until boards, I am just confused as to what to do both offer the 403b and some other similar stuff but with the flexcredits and the fact that you can get $3/hr more if you dont use their insurance which I am forunate enough not to need? Any advice.....Please. Thanks
