never mind that.....just proceed as if ur registering for another exam. fill out the school info and grad date and so on

they would give a disease then ask what you would do.....the trick is each answer is a different precaution so not only do u have to know which action matches the precaution, you also have to mach the precaution to the disease....it doesn't just say "standard precaution"

I did nclex earlier today and finally did the pvt trick and got the "Good pop up". my nerves are still on edge.....how good is this trick anyway? for those "soon to test"- i got 147 questions i had about 13 sata, 6 meds, 6 calculations and lots of infection control.... its all about nerves with the nclex, i did about 150-200 questions a day and used kaplan and exam cram....i still felt completely lost! i just hope this PVT trick is as good as many say

I completed school at UTI three months ago....I wouldnt wish that school on my worst enemy!!!!

my commute is two and a half to three hours in each direction......i travel on average 5.5hrs a day and sit in class for 8!!

:confused:so my school decided to switch from ATI to Hesi right befor I take my exit exam and so far no one is passing...yet most ppl passed the ATI on first try...Im trying to focus on my last class exam (mental health final) bt I cant get the Hesi fear outta my mind....whats the scoop on Hesi and why would my school switch last minute when ATI was working fine?

I attend a lpn nursing school in new jersey that needs to be shut down! Ive been trying to do the "just shut up and graduate" mode for a while now until things began to directly affect me...not sure what the steps are to take with the state,,or if they should even be taken...Am I the only one with horror stories with badly run schools????:typing

UUUGGGHHH...i feel like im at the worse school ever!...but i should be graduating in september or october...cant wait to get out...this school isnt professional in the least bit!

yea reading the posts on hear can kinda alter ur views on school befor u get there.....i havnt started yet but it seems like we gotta just expect the worst and hope for the best....theres a wide range on here....some ppl complain about millions of tests and then sum have a walk in the park....so we'll see.....but good luck and just hang in there stay motivated!!!!

hey im in Laguardia right now...i just faced a sad truth...there are over 350 students going for 60 seats...my only advice is to knock out the pre-reqs as best u can and then apply to every clinical program u can think of including laguardias keep pushing it!:typing

Hey guys......i just stumbled on to this web site by accident and by reading other peoples questions and answers i realized this was no accident at all!!!....im stuck...Im attending Laguardia CC and im in the pre nursing stage...one semester away from applying for candidacy...but the rumors im hearing about denials and waiting lists are killing me...is it really that bad?...and if im denied what are my options...what are some good nursing schools?...and is there such a school that has no line, no waiting lists.........i have a fear of failing which is natural, thats not my problem...my problem is that it sounds like all the odds are against me...350 applicants and 77 seats?...r they serious? help please!
