  1. I am currently thinking of taking 1-2 assignments in California. My husband having a very secure position here in Massachusetts will not be able to go with me for the entire assignment, although will have 2 weeks of vaca to come out and visit. Has anyone else taken an assignment without their S/O following along??? Thanks in advance:) ~Christina~
  2. I am also wondering the same thing.... Just starting the process from Massachusetts. ~Christina~
  3. We are required to have ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
  4. My last job med/surg in a small community hospital days were assigned 3-4 patients, eve 5-6 pt's and nocs no more than 8. We did not utilize aids/techs plus the RN's were responsible for an LPN's pt load also. I currently work in an inner city ER were trauma/cardiac sections 4-5 pts, non-monitored beds 6-15(includes chairs and locked room), fast track 7, usually with 1-2 tech's. ~Christina~

  8. After Graduation I worked for 1 &1/2 years med/surg(couldn't wait to be done with that!) and currently at 9 months of ER(community hosp). I am and associates degree RN and will be returning to school for my BSN in the fall. I'd like to end up in PACU or cardiac cath unit. ~Christina~
