  1. It sounds as like you you are uncomfortable there anyway and it may be a time for change especially,If you feel that you will not be respected by coworkers at your current location then I suggest you start fresh. People love to talk and discuss other peoples business and tear down instead of buiding up.People are going to talk no matter what, be confident in yourself and your abilities. I did not get my temp when i finished school, but I had a job waiting on meI did not pass the 1st time, but passed 2nd time and that same supervisor offered me the job w/o hessitation. I took it!!
  2. Congrats:yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::D:D:D
  3. Congrats!!! I am so happy for you!!!!! :yeah:
  4. I understang exactly how you feel. I took NCLEX the first time in JAN and did not pass with 265 ?. ( I had alot going on the before the test ( my baby brother was killed week after thanksgiving, I also have 3 children.) It never entered my mind that I would not pass. I cried the day I found out and ? if this was the path GOD had for me. The next day, I told myself I will not give up on my dream and let anything stop me. I took a few days off and then began to study again. I told myself this would not happen again. This time I answered 100-150 a day, 2 weeks before my test, we went on vaction, when I came back I answered more ? the Sunday before the test my Pastor talked about worrying and anxiety and that day I was determined not to worry and put in in God's hands. I retook April 2 , received a pass on april 4 ,then I was struck by the BON that my test may not have been valid. I became very anxious and came on this board and posted messages. That night and the next day I prayed and thanked the Lord for my victory and then I received confirmation on 4/05/08 that I indeed had past. If i can go through everything I have been through and not give up. So can you!!! Don't ever give upand don't let this test make you feel like you are a failure you made it this fair!!! :heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat
  5. Hang in there. waiting is so hard be prayful and keep faith. How long is the wait in your state
  6. Congrats!!!!:yeah::yeah: You are offically an:nurse:
  7. If you have 75 questions and that many select all that apply; seems to be a good sign, also you have all the infection control ? which is also good. BE confident in yourself. Stay positive
  8. Congrats!!!!!!!
  9. You can do this. You have all the tools you need inside of you. The main key is not to panic. Evaluate where you went wrong the first time. If it was content then do that, if it was strategy,go over that. I did not pass in Jan, just found out I passed today> i used Saunders and Kaplan test strategies. These would for me. Hope this helps
  10. I also was required to pass HESI. I ordered the HESI review book, but I had Saunders 3rd edition. I found Saunders book more helpful than HESI book, but HESI cd questions are more like the HESI exam. The HESI CD only allows you to take each test 5 times and the book is about 45.00.In l ref to nclex, you are killing 2 birds with 1 stone because while you are preparing for HESI you are also preparing for NCLEX. :heartbeat
  11. Thank you all so much. I was in a bit of a funk but......Just found out that whatever the problem was did not affect my results and now I can finally say I Passed. What God has for me is for me.
  12. Congrats!!! hopefully I will be able to officially say I passed soon!!!
  13. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers. My people who don't know how stressful Nclex and nursing school are keep telling me not to sweat it. The thought of possibly having to take that thing over is enough to drive me insane. at the testing center when myself and others went on break because all the confusion with the girls computer that got stuck, i thought to get their numbers but did not because we were thinking to complain about the distraction that lasted over 10 minutes which is long when you are taking a test. I think it is 5 of us this happened to.
  14. i tested in Birmingham,al
  15. Warning Long post ahead!!!! O'k I took Nclex on April 2. I had 158 Questions with alot of high level ?. Well one person next to me computer got stuck at question 71 and the proctor came in to fix it, it was very distracting so I took a break. Came back and apparently the problem was solved, at least I thought. So today I check my BON to see if I have a license and yes I do I get all excited and call everyone to say I passed. Later I check the get you test results just so I can see the word Pass and it said pending. How can I have a License if my results are pending. Confused I go back to check License and Now it say UNDER REVIEW. So I call the BON and they tell me apparently the NCBSN has to validate every test from that test center on that day because When the test was being checked the second time they found major errors. Then He went on to explain that a PASS could be a FAIL, a Fail could be a Pass, or if the test is not valid We all may have to retest, but we would not have to pay. Also they have no time frame wen the matter will be resolved. So now Her I am sitting in LIMBO, I don't know what to do!!! I pray that I get results that say I pass and that it is a valid pass. I really don't want to have to take that test again when I did my best and this was not my fault!!! I feel like Crying. I am claiming my Pass in JEsus name, however, I am a bit frustrated. I am greatful that the error was caught and that there is a chance that if any of us did fail it could turn to a pass, but why would my name be under those with license if I failed?? Help !!!!!!! please!!!!
  16. It's funny you would say worrying is not a part of God. My pastor talked about that Sunday. I truly believe that God was with me yesterday. Call me crazy I nervous, but I have this great Peace inside of me. Having the peace of God is awesome!!!!
  17. Took Nclex yesterdayfor 2X. Hoping to find out I passed Friday morning, I had so many SATA ( it sould be against the law to have that many), lots of med teaching, prioritizing, delegation, drug calculations. Last question was priority Hope thats a good sign. Waiting is so dreadful. :uhoh3: :uhoh3:
  18. Congrats:nuke::yeah:
  19. O'k I know that it says that the people at the testing center don't know the results. When I finished testing, one of the last ones left, the lady said you are one of the Luck ones, you results will be at BON in 48 hrs. Why am I lucky? Am I lucky because I finished the test and was going home. Does she know I passed. What does it mean. I got WHOLE lot of SATA, prioritizing, Med teaching, few calculations. Answered over 100Q. I feel confident, but her comment is on my mind:no:
  20. That's great I gladyou got 75 way to go. I had over a 100, lots of select all that apply well over 10, lots of priority, maybe 5 math problems, lots of med questionsHad a major distraction the girl next to me computer shut off at 71 and they had to fix it and they were talking so I got up and took a break because i lost focus, BUT i GOT BACK ON TRACK AFTER MY BREAK. . Will see friday how it went!!
