  3. Im a new grad, I just took an offer in Brooklyn New York. $69,000 base + $ 6,000 for nights, 12h shifts. The average rent here in brooklyn is $1200/month. I dont understand. In Florida RNs make $40,000 to $45,000 a year and i was checking out their rents is also $1200/month. Can someone explain this to me:confused:
  4. I agree. This would be a very good idea to make this a survey. Any ideas on how to make it a survey?
  5. I took the Exam this morning 02/20/08. It cut off at 75. I think i failed, but i hope i passed. It wasnt easy. Lots of meds
  6. hey, I used both kaplan and meds pub. Kaplan qbank questions are not easy, i avrg aroung 55. The medspub questions are a joke, dont waste your time, they too easy, BUT medspub has a great review of content tutorial, its much better than kaplan tutorial. Well, these are just my two cents. Good luck
  7. thanx for the info. I have a question, What were you scoring on the qbank? because i started the qbank questions before i started the kaplan class, i was avrg 55, after completing kaplan class, my avrg is 55. I dont see the difference.

  14. Started at 21 just graduated Dec 17 at age 24.
  15. I feel same way. I’m getting ready to take the NCLEX-RN . I have a dilemma I don’t know where to start. Should I start working in Florida or New York ?. Should I start ER or Med/Surg? I have a lot to figure out.
  16. Yeah I know what you mean. I hated writing the APIE sheets every morning. The head-to-toe assessments. I really hope that when I start working, the real thing will be different from clinical, other wise I feel like I will hate my job.
  17. Hello. I was just wondering if someone fails, how many time can they retake the nclex?
  18. It took me 1 year of pre-nursing and 2 years of nursing. I just graduated few weeks ago. Its was 3 years of hell.
  19. I just graduated 2 weeks ago. Let me tell, I HATED the last 2 semester. Most of all I hated the clinicals, But i took on day at a time and i made it. I guess its a normal feeling. NEVER GIVE UP.
