Im Sick
Those are the scores most people get with Kaplan, and they pass. I was at 50's and 60's all the time and I passed. Kaplan has a high level, don't stress about it.

Yes! the book is necessary, and you need to read it before practicing the questions. You will feel like you are no using the strategies while taking the actual test, but unconsciously, you are. I am not saying you'll pass for sure, but it did work for me and I passed at 75 questions in only 1 hour 40 minutes. You still will think you failed!

"keeping Hope Alive After" Taking Nclex-rn On July 9th Answering 265 Questions
Did you pass? should be up by now....good luck
-
im having mixed feelings!! AAAHHHHH!!
This time most likely you passed. Most of the time, people either pass or fail at 75 or 265. When you get a number like that 140-150 mostle means, you passed.

needed help for this one
Divide the weight in lbs to Kg by 2.2 and then multiply that by the mg, and then you need to see how many mg are there in a ml to calculate how many ml

Your welcome! and I hope you go on to get the RN

1st day as an RN.
There are nurses in the hospital that have told me their tales of the old nurses times with the Nclex, and I think there is not way I could survive that long in agony. I would have to be put in a SICU bed on propofol drip:banghead:

Be sure to read the book before you practice the questions, that is the most important part, learn the strategies.

That's ok. Then it is only $109. But the book is the same for the LPN and the RN as far as content, it changes only on the test. The explanations are the same and if you are planning to become an RN then is better to buy the RN one instead. BTW I did Kaplan PN Q-bank too, and passed at 85 questions last year when I got my LPN license

This is for the Practical Nurse license, are you taking the LPN or the RN?
-
Job change after failing
That's tipically the case everywhere because you don't have a license and then it would be illegal. A co-worker failed it and had to work as an aide until he passed the test
-
Discouragement
That is if you do the entire program, but I don't think that is neccessary. The Q-bank is only $299 for 1000 questions. I think with that you'll be ok, plus the cost of the book
-
Just took the Nclex!!!
Very true, I even text message everybody right coming out of the test that "I failed" the I found out 2 days later that I passed. I am sure you passed
-
Discouragement
Think about how much money you spent in your nursing career, and Kaplan Q-bank is only $299 for 3 month access more than 1000 questions, and the book you can find it over Ebay very cheap, in fact I'm selling mine there with the medication box, and is still like new! Is extra $299 a lot when comparing to the cost of the nursing program, and the big chances to pass Nclex RN the firs time?

Let me clarify this to you, what people mean is that there is not review that will prepare you for the test, the best way to pass this test is to learn and understand the strategies (like Kaplan, which I strongly recommend) and practice, practice, practice questions using the strategies and reading the rationals. In the sense of reviewing all nursing school content, impossible. I used kaplan Q-bank and practice around 1400 questions, and passed at 75 in less than 2 hours
-
How many of u passed
Do Kaplan, make sure you read the strategies and practice with them every test, there will be a point it will automatically pop up in your mind in the test, guaranteed.
-
88 Questions!
that is a good number, most likely indicates that you passed. A girl from my class passed at 89 questions. I won't wish you good luck, you don't need it, you passed;)
-
If you just passed the NCLEX-RN....
I bought Kaplan Q bank and I would make tests of 50 new questions. I was anywhere from 45% to max 65%, not more than that. I practice the book test and did about 66%, and the companion CD with 180 questions, and I got 63% correct. I passed at 75 questions.
-
Do you think being ESL makes the NCLEX harder?
Wrong hun, you don't get paid more for speaking another language
-
Do you think being ESL makes the NCLEX harder?
English is my second language, and I get asked this question a lot. I don't think being ESL was a factor against me in the test, but for some people, it could be, what do you think?
-
75?'s...SCARED
For those of you still waiting, we all know how agonzing it is, but I know you all passed and tomorrow you'll be shaking after seen the word "pass"
-
Just waiting for my fail letter
I bought the Q-bank, but make sure you practice using the strategies, after practice, practice, and practice, they will stick to your mind and will pop up in the test automatically.

Just found out :)
Congrats!
