  1. Gah, I thought I answered this long ago. I guess not! :) I am from Surrey. I graduated from Douglas way back in '93. Currently working in New West. Hello everyone!

  9. We have 2 Nurses that cover the ward in the morning while we are in getting report, they go in and listen after we are out. On nights we have one who stays out and covers. It works well!
  10. British Columbia Nurses Union here. Also the CNA. I can't imagine working for a non-union facility! :uhoh21:

  17. I'm glad you are going to see an Endocrinologist! Hypothyroid therapy can take months to get levelled out to the point where you feel like your old self again. Good luck. There is alot of info on thyroid disorders out there. When I was going thru it I found alot of info on Google!
  18. My son developed one when he was a month old, quite large and on his outer leg. My pediatricain was wonderful and said essentially everything that is mentioned above. His did fade after a time and was completely gone by the time he was four.

  20. You're only human. You do what you can and go home. This was not an emergency, it was not a crashing patient. It's too bad you have to admit so close to shift change anyway!
