I think sauders worked better than Kaplan....To tell you the truth the nclex questions are like no other...Just know you stuff and work on critical thinking , thats what it is all about....hope that helps....I also liked the hurst review...

Hang in there....believe me I know how you are feeling....It took me 6 times....Just take a deep breath and then make a plan....if you need someone to talk to or just listen..PM me....I finally just believed that when It was the right time I would pass and it was finally the right time....I will be saying prayers for you... Thank you all for responding....Suzanne, I really think I had got alot of those questions before on previous tests and now I know why I havent passed..I was always picking the airway first....well, this time I will really be reading the whole questions....I have done most of the sauders question ( practicely all of them)....I feel better and I kee saying everyday....I AM A SAFE NURSE AND I AM CONFIDENT I WILL PASS THIS TIME!!!!!!!!

Hi there all.....Yes, it will be the 6th and final time, cause I WILL pass this time, no ifs and of buts.... One question....On those internal disaster questions, where it happens in a building (like twin towers) and they ask you who would you assess first.....should you help the most tramatized person first(airway) or the least hurt(walking wounded) first.....from how I am interperting this article it says help the least hurt first so they can help you....Please clarify this for me....if anyone can....thanks.....also, I have found a great nclex herb meds article...pm me if you would like me to send it to you.....Please say prayers for me for next week....and to Suzanne...thanks for all the info and helpful hints.... Jenn, Thanks for all the good advice....I have that book you are referring too...I had taken the ncbsn before i took the last test, I dont think I really utilized it...I did print out all the lectures though...I think I will go back over them all and use the books that I have and hope for the best....my problem is that I work long hours and have two little active girls...I need to buckle down....thanks for everything...how does it feel, RN behind your name now...I am so happy for you....congrats again!

:chair: please dont give up whatever you do...I have taken and failed 5 times since graduating in may of 04 ... I refuse to give up my dream...I just keep plugging away...I am really lucky though that I chose to get my lpn first cause I am working as a lpn, making great money...My first 4 times taking the test i got 265 questions..This last time I got 143 ...I thought forsure that I passed but ...nope....It hurt this time :angryfire ...but I got through it with having great support from my family and my boss and coworkers, friends...I know I am a great nurse...just think of how much more I will know when I finally pass this exam.....If you would like to chat sometime, drop me a [email protected]....( macknjacks mom too) I would love to know what your plans are next... well, keep your chin up....It will happen!!!!

Take a sec to realize what you really want...Do you want to give up on a dream? Do you give up easily? I have failed 4 times...I refuse to give up my dream!!!! I dont want to hear that you have decided to go into another profession...Its not a option...you have made it this far....Just think about when you finally do pass, how great will that feel...and at that point noone will ever ask how many times it took to pass (unless you choose to tell them)...So, please , relax , take a break, re-focus...and try a new approach...Me, I am going to try the ncsbn online thing that is 49$...If you would like to personally IM me....or email [email protected] give up!!!!!!!!

First of all...congrats... second what exact kaplan books are you referring to? Did you take the kaplan coorifice? What made it different this time?
