  1. I just read an ad for a IT position for EPIC Implementation at a large hospital nearby. States you do not need IT experience. And they will train you to take EPIC certification. I'm ok with computer skills, not a "super user". Along with the resume it asks about salary requirements. What range does an IT make? Just wondering because it sounds interesting. Thanks!
  2. What company are you working for? Anyone hear of Medical Case Management Group (MCMG)?
  3. careylee310--have you gotten any jobs yet?

  5. Sorry it took a while to reply--how did the interview go? What do you think?
  6. Anyone? I was hired by this company. I can't find anything on them on the bbb website. Their main office is based out of Maine and they are hiring independent contractors on the east coast.
  7. Anyone hear of this company--Medical Case Management Group (MCMG)? They do case management for workers comp cases.
  8. I am all for giving vaccines to my children. I even looked up on Gardasil when my daughters doctor suggested she have it. We all want to protect our children and after looking into the vaccine, my daughter was given the first shot. Afterwards, I started reading about all of the negative effects: the fainting, clots, paralysis, DEATHS!!. Also, I read it may only be effective for 4 years, they arent exactly sure. Right now, I am scared to continue with the injections because of this. As I want her to be safe and healthy, I also dont want to subject her to the possible adverse effects of this vaccine.
  9. I have the recruiters name and number if you want it. Just PM me.
  10. I did hh for almost 6 months and then left. I was PT staff and my daily schedule was frequently changed by the office. I was given admits, and then my regular pts revisits were given to someone else, because these people did not want to open cases. I finally got fed up with it and left. while I knew that schedule would sometimes change, I liked to know what my days were like the night before. Since I also had to leave by a certain time, the change during the day would often make me late to pick up my kids! I did like visiting the pts, most of the time, it was just the changing of schedules and also the tons of paperwork when I got home. Now, I just started legal nurse consulting and so far, so good! Good luck to everyone!
  11. Yes I am in NYC. I wasnt able to make the open house but I did send in my resume. Do you work in elementary or junior high and are you the only nurse in your school? I'm just a little nervous because I have not had any experience as school nurse.
  12. I worked as a student nurse intern between my 1st and 2nd year of nursing school. I think it was the best thing to do! I learned so much that summer, much more than I learned doing clinicals!! Also, when I applied for a job when I was graduating I then got the job on that floor because the manager liked the way I worked!! So I would go for it.
  13. You definitely will learn alot at Maimo!
