I'm an LPN and I got my pre-reqs in English Comp (excellsior), Sociology (CLEP), Lifespan Dev.(excellsior), World Religions (Dantes). I need A&P, Micro., & Biology. Which # test are these on CCCOnline as all the #'s are confusing to me? I'd hate to take the wrong ones. What is the price per course on these? Is the whole thing online including tests & finals or do you have to go to a testing center? TY

I'm having trouble to.I've done my pre-reqs in World Religion, Lifespan Dev., English Comp., & Sociology. I'm ready to go take Biology & I have A&P & Micro left. My husbands work has been slow & we are struggling with paying the bills so its just been hard to justify spending the money to take the test when it could pay & bill or buy groceries.Hopefully things will get better soon & I can get back on track.

You contact the local college that gives the CLEP test & get your test date & the Sociology CLEP was $90 & you pay when you test.

So they wouldn't tell me over the phone without me paying? I was told by TCN rep. when I met with them that English Comp, Sociology, LifeSpan Development, A&P, & Micro are all required. Is this true? The only pre-reqs I have as of yet are the 3 listed above.

How do I find out which ones I need? I've got the following already. English Comp ~excellsior World Religions ~Dantes LifeSpan Dev. Psy.~ excellsior Would they help me with this if I called Excellsior?

I finally started back on my studying after a 6 month break. I was just bummed from failing Biology by 1 point plus I love being outside in the hot weather.Well I passed the Lifespan test last Saturday. I'm glad that ones over as it was $235.00. Now I'm studying Sociology and hope to test soon.

Thank you and no I'm for sure not giving up yet. I'm thinking of doing Life Span Developmental Psychology next. Which test do you recommend (CLEP or Excellsior version)? I have TCN book but what other study material do you recommend?Thanks

I'm so upset.I took the Sociology Clep in Jan. and made a 49 with passing being 50.I studied The College Network book and there was numerous things on the test not covered in the book. Of course I now can't retake it until the end of July.I went today and took the Biology Clep and made 45 with 50 being passing. I studied an offical CLEP study guide and made 2 A's and a B on them. Well the exam was nothing like this book made it to be and the book was no help.Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm questioning if I should continue or not.Also if I do I have Microbiolgy, A&P, and Life Span Developmental Psychology left.Which one is the easiest to pass so I can rebuild my confidence? Can I take Human Growth and Development CLEP in the place of Life Span Develop. or is the it harder?

I appreciate the help. I plan to do micro once I get done with biology

I took my Sociology CLEP last week and made 49 and 50 is passing. I have to wait 6 months to retest. My question is what do you recommend I use to study as I only have TCN book? Also the same thing what do you recommend I use to study for the biology CLEP? I have TCN book on it as well? Thanks for any help.

Lunah I'm glad you stated this I had no idea and this is probably what I'll take after sociology. How much does the clep for this cost?
