u know what, it took me 1 year and 4 mos before i finally landed a job. And that wait was like forever! But i have to say that it was worth the long wait because i am now working in a tertiary specialty hospital.. And it's a lot better than being employed right away in a clinic!

i actually applied for staff Nurse in PHC. I already had my clinical and psychological exams, and fortunate enough, i was one of the first priorities. However, that was already 6mos ago. And still, i am waiting for panel interview. If you're willing to wait that long, pursue Phil. heart ctr. Good luck!

i wud just like to share this... when i was still a student, i was really a lot worried about the clinical exposure that i get whenever we're on duty. But now that i'm already a nurse, i'm surprised to see a familiar view.. Student nurses on the lounge, just discussing things, taking the vital signs, giving p.o. meds, then going out for almost an hour break... This scenario is ALMOST d same for all student nurses i've seen so far, wherever school they're from. Just do your best, and dont think about a lot of things that will only upset you. Good luck!

hi! im also a proud graduate of lanting last march 06 and a passer of june 06 nurse licensure exam. The time i passed the board, i was only 20. My point is, i know a lot of second coursers, some are even dentists, from other reputable universities who didnt make it.. Likewise, my former classmate in highschool, who i really look up to, also graduated from a very popular university in espana manila, yet she unfortunately failed. So I guess, saying that, a grade of 1.0 in lanting is equivalent to 3.0 in other schools, is very much unfair. Moreover, some of the so called "cum laude" of her school also didnt make it. Lanting may not be as "sosy" as it seems but i believe with all my heart, that it is indeed, a very much competent institution of learning for people who desire to be nurses some day.

point is... you cannot be held liable for abandonment unless otherwise, proven by the ruling court. So just hope and pray that nothing will happen while you're away from your patient.. Gud day to all!

I really dont want a retake.. i dont care if it's for the best.. i wouldnt waive all my test results just for the heck of it. I did my best and I did not cheat.. Why do i have to suffer? Is it my fault that i passed the June06 NLE? This issue has been draining out my patience and it delays all my plans... I'm sorry if this statement makes u feel uncomfortable in any way......... I just want to ventilate my feelings....i am too angry.. i guess too furious with the previous Bon members.... oh gosh, i really wana cry!
