  1. Suzanne, that is not about the luck. My whole class exclusevely had a job lined up before our graduation date. Almost every BON offers a temperary license for a grad nurse. You can start working just right after the graduation. If you did not pass NCLEX, they warn them that they will put down the grad nurses to the CNA position until they pass the NCLEX. As far as International grad nurses go, yes, no one hospital will sign the petition until NCLEX is passed. But the point is to get a job offer, hire an Immigration Attorney, have him/her contact the HR person and start the ball rolling. All my forms have been prepared by my attorney before my NCLEX. I have signed them, had Medical Examination done, started VS process. HR in my hospital had the prepared I-140 on their desk. And as soon as I passed NCLEX, they signed the form and mailed to my attorney overnight. That is how it is supposed to be. If you wait until you passed NCLEX, you will lose time especially now when the quota is running out. There is nothing as liking or disliking what you post in here. But your statement are a way too absolute. You cannot speak for the hospitals like "No one will even look at you if you have not NCLEX done" That is an absolutely false statement. I can list plenty of hospitals that even will pay all Immigration fees, and they will offer you a job before the NCLEX. The job offer is not a contract, and can be always revoken if there is NCLEX or work permit issue. The hospitals I am talking about have very good reputation and well known in the world (not only in the US) . I'll skip the advertisement here. Thanks
  2. That is not correct, Suzanne. I am, being on F-1 visa, and still having 2 month left until graduation got several job offers from Hopistals that offered me sponsorship. I got those offers on the official letters directly from the hospitals from PA, NY, CA, and FL. I just had to pick where i want to go. I am not sure, Suzanne, what is the reason for you to make the false statements?
  3. If you failed, you will get a big yellow envelope in about 4-5 days after the test. The letter will ask you to return the temperary license. They will not deactivate your temp. license until they got the temp. license back. Did not want to get you scared, just answering how can you know if you failed. Most of my friends saw their RN license isued on PA website in 48 hours. But i also know cases of those who passed for PA, and they saw the license in a week and even more. So relax, or call the bon. Don't ask for the result. Ask about the license. Say, May i find out if my license have been issued? Good luck. Im sure you aced it. Keep us posted so we can send you some baloons :)
  4. Thanks guys! I wish i could find out about this web site earlier before my first time But I am glad It is over. :balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :balloons:
  5. If you took NCLEX-RN, Kaplan review is the best. If you want i can email to you Kaplan Questionnaire. Have a hope!
  6. Hey guys, Just wanted to let you know that in my case Florida bon was faster than Quick Result Pearson service!!! I took my NCLEX-RN Aug 8 and saw my license issued on Aug 10 before my Quick Result was available. I saw on FL bon web site https://ww2.doh.state.fl.us/irm00Praes/PRASLIST.ASP#theBottom And i did not have to pay!!!!!!!!!!! I saved $7.95, ha-ha-ha I passed!!! I passed!!!:balloons:
  7. Did you check FL bon if the license was issued? I took mine for FL also but yesterday and cant wait for tomorrow morning to find out. Congratulations!!!:balloons:
  8. I know my friend called PA bon next day and they let her know. But on the website she saw her license issued in 48 hours after the test. So if you dont see the issue in 48 hours, try to call them, if they are in good mood , they can tell you. :-) How many questions did you get? Dont worry in advance, just wait. I took my yeasterday, and also unsure, but i hope :-) Good luck!
  9. How long it took for you? did you get a lot of pharm questions? Did you feel the questions were very hard? If you did, you passed!!!
  10. What are the other 4?
  11. 40 minutes?? What did you study? That is a incredible to get 75 questions for 40 minutes. If you can share the books you used to study. I would appreciate it. I take my exam next week. :-)
  12. Also, I might be wrong, but i honestly think that select all that apply are included in those 15 questions that are not counted against your score. I think very few students can answer "select" questions right.
  13. Guys! Dont feel that bad, the only way to fail the test with 75 questions, if the computer gives you easy questions and you cant make them, you really have to answer more than 50% easiest questions wrong. But if you feel that the test was not easy and you only got 75 questions, you dont have to feel blue. Be positive, say to yourself, I passed, I passed. If you were in the middle the computer would keep you going. So good luck to you!
  14. What state did you tak NCLEX for? Did you find out that you passed? Did you check Pearson account?
