  1. Hello Everyone! I pray that God is Blessing YOUR SOCKS OFF! I am dong the same thing as 2005GRAD. I am in Orientation taking test after test after test. I guess it never stops!. We only get 2 chances to get 80% on ALL tests, if not then YOU LOSE YOUR JOB! So far I've made a 95% on Basic Drug Calculations Test, and 100% on Blood Transfusion Test. TO GOD BE THE GLORY! I will start computer class tomorrow and will renew CPR on 4/21. It is alot to take in, BUT WE CAN DO THIS! I'm A REAL NURSE (RN)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAVE A BLESSED DAY! Rozy
  2. HELLO FUTURE & CURRENT NURSES! I pray that EVERYONE is doing well. Today was my third day of orientation and we had a DRUG calculations TEST. They told us yesterday that we had to make an 80 or better on the test, which was 20 problems. WE would have ONLY 2 chances to pass it OR we would lose our job. WELL I made a 95% on mine, THANK YOU JESUS! Next week is CPR class. BE BLESSED, Nurse Rozy

Just cast your care, worries, and anxieties on HIM for HE cares for YOU. ALWAYS REMEMBER that the race is not given to the swift, nor to the strong, but to the one that ENDURETH UNTIL the END. I believe in YOU! YOU CAN DO THIS! Like a writer once said, " IF at FIRST you don't SUCCEED, TRY! TRY AGAIN! I Believe Everything happens for a REASON! MAY GOD Shine HIS FACE UPON YOU AND YOUR SITUATION. Rozy

  10. Hello! I agree with Susan! I believe overseas nurses should take 3 months to study for th NCLEX. On the other hand, I think 2 months max is good enough for American trained nursing students. I say 1 month of content review (comprehensive) in your weakest areas (Med-Surg, Maternity, Pediatrics, etc.) and 1 month doing 100 questions a day with reading ALL the rationales. UNLESS YOU ARE DOING SUSAN'S PLAN, which is like 6-8 weeks. I hope this helps.
  11. Hello Future Nurses! YOU ALL ARE SOOOO WELCOME. I am so happy to sow seeds that will benefit others. If you need an answer or help with anything else pertaining to Nursing/NCLEX-RN please let me know. Nurse Rozy
  12. This number is for NC Licesure ONLY. Are you apllying for license in NC?
  13. Hello I had this same problem with my school. I don't know the time, but they should send it ASAP. What I did was send my finger prints and everything to get my Criminal Background started. This is the longest part(about 6 weeks). Then I paid for the licesure and Pearsonvue while I was waiting, and 3 days after the DEAN sent the info, I received m ATT. Just do what YOU CAN until they do there PART. Nurse ROZY
  14. HI! You can either go to http://www.pearsonvue.com to sign in and pay or CALL your NURSING BOARD and ask to VERIFY licesure for FREE. I did that on FRIDAY and it WORKS, but to my surprise they gave me the tel. # to the AUTOMATED SYSTEM. I GOT MY RESULTS FOR FREE!! FAVOR IS BETTER THAN MONEY! Nurse Rozy

  18. Hello Bori! I used Saunders Comprehensive Book, Mosby CD, Exam CRAM, Drexel EXCEL CD, VIRTUAL ATI(ONLINE), www.caring4you.net and http://www.RNboardreview.com. However, after taking the test I REALIZED I MUST HAVE OVERSTUDIED or GOD BLESSED ME WITH AN EASY TEST because I did not have NONE of the BIG STUFF (HERBS, IMMUNIZATIONS, DISASTER, TRIAGE, CHILD DEVELOPMENTAL STAGES, PSYCHOLOGICAL DISORDERS, HARD PHARMACOLOGY , DRUG CALCULATIONS, CHEST TUBES, etc.) that I was EXPECTING. The MOST Difficult thing that I had was ABG's and DELEGATION! I ONLY had 2 EASY Multiple Multiples. WOW! What a BLESSING! I hope this helps! NURSE ROZY

  25. Hello Everyone! Thank You for your Many Prayers! I took my test this morning and to my SURPRISE I cut off at question 76. When I realized I had another question after 75 I thought OH GOD, but then when it cut off after 76 I thought HELP! what an ODD number. I REALLY think the 76th number was the make me or break me number. I had 2 Multiples, 2 Drug questions, Some Priority,Some Delegations, a lot on Neurological Disorders, NO CALCULATIONS, NO HERBS, No other alternative Style ???, No child Developmental things. I pretty much did not have alot of things that I was EXPECTING. I PRAY THAT THE QUESTIONS THAT I GOT RIGHT WERE ON THE DIFFICULT LEVEL!!!! I am just going to cast down any negative thoughts and PRAISE GOD IN ADVANCE FOR MY VICTORY! I AM an R.N. in Jesus Name! Rozy P.S. I should KNOW by FRIDAY!!
