  1. I read the same memo. My understanding is that on 9/27 instead of rejecting all schools outright for not be accredited and only approved, they will reject specific schools that they found fraudulent such as those they put on the list. Right now, even if the school is not on the list and is "approved" those applications are not going through. So I assume they will not be giving license to the Carleen type of schools that they found to be shady even if they are "approved" but will continue to issue license to other schools. Correct me if I'm not interpreting this correctly.
  2. It's on NYBON website I can't find the link but I read it a few days ago
  3. The memo made it seem like they will resume accepting students of "approved" out of state schools on 9/27.
  4. Yes, this is pretty crazy. NY is not the only one investigating. California BON is also very strict and people from my school are getting licensed there. The Cali BON had initially placed those people on hold but eventually cleared the school and now people can get licensed. NYBON issued att for a classmate but is telling her they might not issue her license and not issuing for others who applied after her. The whole situation is really crazy. They said they want accredited schools. My school is now national accreditation but they are still making it impossible.
  5. the nurses I know from my school aren't getting att or if they have an att nybon is telling them that they may not issue them license. I got it before 4/18. This is why I'm nervous about trying to endorse it to other states. my school is not on the list and got national accreditation recently
  6. anyone know what the situation is for FL grads who got their license in NY, and the school is NOT on the fraud list, if they want to endorse license to another state?
  7. I guess, depending on their "investigation". Can you work out of state?
  8. Sigma is no longer approved on FBON. Is that why they NYBON is not issuing license & investigating?
  9. Were you able to graduate and get licensed in NJ?
  10. Have you tried calling progressive college of Florida School? I heard from somewhere they are the ideal professional people operating with a new name.
  11. I didn't go to the program.
  12. Which school did you attend? Maryland BON has some schools that they won't issue license to.
  13. Maybe try and get in touch with someone who went there? They are still enrolling students. And their review classes are all full too. I don't know what all these students are doing after. They must be sitting for the NCLEX somehow. I would imagine if they weren't able to word would spread and people would stop signing up.
  14. I'll take a different position here. I worked in corporate America for some time. Those job postings cost money to the employer in most instances. They aren't cheap. In my honest opinion you should probably hedge your bets and start looking around. I've seen this happen before. I don't mean to scare you but going from experience it is better to be proactive than blindsided. I hope this all works out for you though.
