  1. Yes. Check out Happier Living where all appts are 40 min and therapy is a focus.
  2. Hi, could you tell me what the shift differentials are at cook (from 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends)? Thank you!
  3. I’ve been accepted for Fall 2021 also. I haven’t committed yet either but it looks like I will as well. ??
  4. How do you like the program so far? I’m considering Wilkes for May or August start. Are you working full time?
  5. I’m a new grad and got hired for an inpatient psych residency that I’m about to start. It was the only one I saw open in my area though. It is possible, but probably not as many positions available as some other specialities.
  6. Mine were situational questions for the unit What would I do if xyz happened, etc.
  7. I don’t have any advice but I am also a new grad (2nd career) and am starting a residency on an inpatient psych unit in July. I figure if we didn’t love the other clinicals to begin with, we probably wouldn’t love having to go to work every day on a med-surg or telemetry floor. I also loved adolescent psych.
  8. My husband was diagnosed with the flu the beginning of February. The next day I had a headache, cough and a 102.9 temperature, so I went to urgent care thinking that I also had the flu. I was surprised when I did not test positive like my husband had. The doctor treated me like I had the flu anyway. We were both prescribed Tamiflu, Bromfed, and Tessalon Perles. He got better quickly before he finished his Tamiflu, and never needed any of his cough meds. I still was not better after the Tamiflu and after finishing my bottle of Bromfed, I called telehealth. The doctor gave me 5 days of prednisone. After taking prednisone, I still was still SOB and had a bad cough. My other symptoms were fatigue and headache. Eventually things resolved after about 3 1/2 weeks.
  9. I go to the University of Texas at Arlington and my cohort only had Capstone left to do to graduate. They cancelled all clinicals for everyone. Some hospitals were no longer taking students, and some were, but ultimately UTA cancelled clinicals for all nursing students. We are going to be doing online simulations and check offs via Facetime, Zoom, etc. We will know more on Monday when they plan to have our new lesson plans.
  10. Hmmm... my interview was last Thursday, but I only interviewed with one person. So for the position that you accepted, how many interviews did you have?
  11. For the same position?? Or was that for multiple positions?
  12. For those of you who have gotten job offers from THR, how many interviews did you have before you were offered a position? I have a second interview this week.
  13. 132 for Capstone and 60 for Community.
