RN licence surrender vs suspension
I made my life very difficult by surrendering my license in 2010. I was so ashamed of what I had done, I basically acted like it never happened. That was not the best solution, as 5 years later my family, etc. found out. In 2013 I went before the board and got my license reinstated, but had I not voluntarily surrendered I probably wouldn't have to have gone through the whole process. However, I went through extensive treatment before getting my license reinstated. This made getting through TPAPN much easier. Hope this helps!

Tpapn
Hi! I live in Dallas as well, and I am in the TPAPN program. I have less than 2 months left. I found my success in finding a job at a doctor's office/outpatient center. I worked for the same doctor for over two years, and it was not difficult working and doing TPAPN. I would strongly recommend using the treatment center I used. They helped me tremendously finding a job and completing the TPAPN program. It is called Innovation360 and is a treatment center for substance abuse, alcoholism, and mental illness. The psychiatrist is very familiar with TPAPN and fills my form out every quarter. They have so much to offer... Let me know if you want more info! Hope this helps!

TPAPN HELP
I am a participant in the TPAPN program. I will be done this April. YAY!!!! I made it through with no relapses or problems. You can too! I live in Dallas and had a hard time finding groups, other than 12 step meetings to go to. I found a wonderful treatment center called Innovation 360 that offers all kinds of groups - they can count for meetings too. It is located in Dallas. I thought I would share the info. Let me know if you are interested or want more information!! Recovery Group: Tuesdays 4:30pm-6pm Recovery Group is designed for those needing to explore their relationship with substances or compulsive behaviors. Abstinence is not a requirement for group attendance. They use psycho-educational processing and experiential exercises to gain a better understanding into the role these behaviors play and their impact on different areas of your life. This group will support and supplement any 12 step recovery process. Women's Group: Wednesdays 10am-11:30am Women's Group provides an opportunity for women aged 25 and up who are in any stage of recovery or healing from substance use and mental health disorders. Together, we use holistic therapeutic techniques and creative activities to help group members gain insight. Group members work together and recognize a sense of community and connection. We learn to create space for this new awareness, finding hope for ourselves and our relationships.
