what are you doing to prepare for the start of school??

school starts may 12 for me....

i am moving, taking cpr, making sure all of my shots are up to date, buying stuff (but restraining myself from buying too much) and running around like a chicken with my head cut off all in excited/anxious anticipation at the start of school!

what are you doing? Just wanted to do a fun thread...maybe it will give me ideas on things i need to do, lol :)

It felt like I was the only one stressing out about school starting!!! I have been trying to track down my immunizations records as a child (not working out so well), trying to test out of English, buying shoes,uniforms,etc.... Helping hubby remodel my kitchen, trying to catch up on the endless laundry pile, and most important spending time with my kids, going to baseball games and gymnastics... things I won't have a lot of time for during the next 2 years!

I am going on many trips this summer before I start school in August. Many road trips, I will be reviewing in my Pharmacology made incredibly easy book and flash cards to give me a heads up, and Dosage and Calculations software and work book I got. I have a feeling those 2 classes will be the hardest for me so I am hoping to give myself an advantage by self learning them over the summer.

BTW the Pharm Made incredibly easy book is like 744 pages long or something like that, I can't imagine what just the Easy or Norm book is :stone

I still need to find a babysitter for evenings. I have my kids in daycamp until 3:30 but need someone to pick them up and watch them until I get home from class.

I ordered my books and started reading through them... after brushing up on A&P.

Did most of my school supply shopping already... I have most of my books, uniform, shoes. I need a good ergonomic backpack.

Compiled a list of slow cooker dinner recipes and lunch ideas.

Having "been there, done that" my advice to you:

Get things done you need to: Such as cleaning, things you have been putting off, etc. You will find you won't have a lot of time to get them done.

NS is intense, as it should be. And most of all: relax and enjoy your time off before you start. Studying the insides of your eyelids may be a good idea... You won't get a lot of time for that when school starts.

Best to you!
