Prayers Texas Friends

I just heard on Klove about a shooting at a Texas high school. Prayers friends, I pray that none of your schools were affected, and if so...Hugs upon hugs.

(I didn't really want to start a new thread on this, but I didn't know where to put it)

Ugh, I pray for complete recovery for the poor girl who was shot and for those who had to see the incident. This scares the "you know what" out of every parent. A baby was baptized at church yesterday. Sweet Petunia was bawling her eyes out because that's who she is and what she does; innocent, precious, little baby being held safely in his mom's arms as he was introduced into his new Christian family. We talked about how parenting was so much easier when you could hold your kids close and make sure they were safe and within reach all the time. But then they grow, as the time God shares them with you ticks past, and you have to turn them loose into society...scary. Every day is a gift.

how sad. Here's to hoping that that community will find some way to find peace.

Student who was shot was flown to Parkland and apparently is in good condition. It's a really small town. EMS and everyone at the hospital probably knew the families of the shooter and the victim. It's hard.
