Pearson Vue Trick

Nursing Students NCLEX

I know many people ask this question, and I am probably stressing over nothing! But I did the trick after my exam today and I got the good pop up. I did only get 75 questions. This trick always works right?

Thanks

Kayla

Nothing is 100% until you get the official results, but it's a pretty good indicator that you passed. Congrats!

"This trick always works right?"

If it did, it wouldn't be called a trick.

Simply put, you had only 75 questions. You either were doing so poorly that the computer knew you didn't have a prayer of passing no matter how many questions it gave you....OR....(drum roll inserted here)....you did so well that the computer was able to calculate you passing by that point.

Which, in your opinion, is the more likely reason the computer stopped at 75 questions?

I don't give a hoot about pop ups, LOL, but I do look at the rest of the picture ;)

I don't know of anyone that the "PVT" didn't work. Those who passed couldn't register. And those who failed were asked for their CC to re register.

Which brings up something...wouldn't you think Pearson Vue is aware of "the trick" and would do something to get rid of it? Lol

You may not know of anyone, but after years of activity on this board, it's pretty apparent that it is inaccurate a small percentage of the time. I have seen a good number, just in my experience, who were both elated at passing (but then crushed they had failed) and crushed they had failed (only to later be elated that they actually had passed).

Why would PV not change their system? Who knows....who cares? Certainly increased traffic to their website several thousandfold, LOL.

This will answer the question. This is just in the past few months. This shows about 90% accuracy. NOT 100%.

I know it is a trick and I didn't mean to say it is 100 percent accurate. I just meant that from the pool of my friends who did it after their nclex including mine it was accurate. But it was just about 20 people. Not a big pool.
