Ohio????????

The U.S. Postal Service issued a stamp

honoring the one hundredth anniversary of the

first flight by the Wright Brothers.

The first man in powered flight was from Ohio.

The first man ever to orbit Earth was from

Ohio.

And the first man on the moon was from Ohio.

It sounds to me like a lot of people are

trying to get out of Ohio!

:chuckle I was in Youngstown for a visit once many years ago. I actually got homesick to see some hills. All I saw was FLAT flat cornfields galore. Not for me. lol.

This is one person from the hills that happens to think Ohio is a great place. I have plenty of relatives who have gone there for work over the years, they have had good lives. Sometimes God wants us to bloom where we are planted or transplanted. LOL

I've lived in Ohio for my whole life - when I was younger I used to want to get out and live someplace else. However now I'll like it here and plan on staying here forever!!! :)

LOL

Maybe we should take a poll???

Try living in Mansfield!

South Carolina here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys sound like my husband!

I was born here.

Spent most of my adult life trying NOT to live here.

Started getting old and ended up coming back. My dad is a lot older than me and he wants his daughters near him.... what could I do?

I plan to leave ASAP and this time I won't come back!

I've lived in Fla, to much violence for me.

S.C. very nice but pay scale stinks.

Ga. outside Atlanta, again very nice and the pay scale is great!

Al. Another really nice state and the payscale in Huntsville is is OK, very nice compaired to Athens (tiny town 20 miles away from Huntsville).

Back in Ohio....pay scale has slipped since I left here and LPN scope of practice got smaller! This place is soooo backward!

I work in a Nursing Home which is where I seemed to have found my niche. So.... I don't think the payscale can be much worse than here.

I was born & raised in Ohio, but then moved out to Southern California for 3 years. I moved back here to Ohio. There's no place like home. The grass may look greener on the other side, but I love it here & plan on staying.

That's the way I feel about Central Pennsylvania after living in New York (not the city) 54 years.
