NYS Licensing Process Delay

Is someone having an issue with delayed licensing process from NYS Office of Professions? How long does it usually take for them to send you your license in the mail or enlist your name on the website? Can you work while you wait for your license given that you already passed the NCLEX?

I read on another thread that license #s were posted two weeks from the date of exam. This was a recent post as of this month. No mention about the actual license being received in the mail. I am currently waiting for my license as well but I only tested on June 22nd. So I am sure I have a while to go.

Okay. I guess this is a waiting game LOL. But thank you! Now I feel at ease. Hopefully next week mine will be posted and yours too!

I took the NCLEX on 7/2, passed :)). Any updates on anyone that has their license number on NYS Office of Professions and how long did it take?

Hello! It took about two weeks. I took the exam June 22nd and my license posted today 7/7.

Hi,

I have been waiting for six weeks for my RN license of NY State. In the board website it is written that it will take 6-8 weeks. Is there anybody in similar position like me?

I’m on the same position, I took the exam on the 30th of June but still I have been waiting the RN license for NY state.

it is written on the board web that it will take 6-8 weeks? Did you receive your license?

I sent an e-mail and I got a reply two days later from ny board.

And I knew I had to submit my green card documents.

 

You should send an email there too.
