Which nursing magazines/journals do you subscribe to or recommend?
I just got an offer in the mail for AJN, and was considering it. I am a new grad working on a Ortho Floor.
Thanks

Nursing and the year. This year it is called Nursing 2004.
I liked it better than RN and AJN. It read like a special interest mag, not a clinical one.
Here is a discounted link from drugstore.com

I subscribe to AJN, Nursing 2004, and Nursing made incredibly easy. I personally find AJN boring, but have 1 yr left on the subscription. I love Nursing 2004. Nursing made incredibly easy is a new one that just came out in October and I love that one too!

I really emjoy Nursing 2004(any year)
I also find AJN boring (very dry and has too many "agendas"
I think RN is entertaining but not too serious (it's lite reading)
I also subscribe to my specialties journal which comes free with the membership (expensive) Journal of Perioperative care(ASPAN)
Hey, the more you read the better for you!

Hi. I love Nursing04, do not care for AJN, my subsription runs out soon. I used to read the Nursing Times in College. It is really expensive to subscibe to (British). Didn't care for RN and am not big on Nursing made incredibly easy. Plus they were supposed to give free issues and then charge 19.95 or something like that, and I got dinged like 60 bucks.
