Aug 4, 201511 yr Hi guys!I recently took the IELTS UKVI Academic examination and got the results, unfortunately, I didn't got the scores needed.I would like to ask if I still need to take the IELTS UKVI for the retake, or am I allowed to take the regular IELTS Academic?A friend of mine told me that if I got scores higher than 5 in all aspects of the IELTS UKVI that is already good enough for the immigration part and instead I can take the regular IELTS Academic for the retake. Thanks in advance for your help!
Aug 4, 201511 yr Just a question. Is it possible to apply for the full assessment even if I don't have an employer at the moment?
Aug 4, 201511 yr Hi Kizmwah and to all,I rang nmc today about police/nbi clearance. Unfortunately we have to submit both if we have lived here in the UK for some time. Whew another delay. Also I read on the ACRO guidelines there's standard processing which is £45 and it will be 10 working days, premium service is £80 but only 2 days. But I don't know, it seems this police certificate/clearance. ? Is more appropriate for visa application to other countries because it gives a list of countries. Please share information. Thanks.
Aug 4, 201511 yr @melcahusseythat's what i've applied for at first and was willing to pay so long i can get the clearance sooner.. But there was a certain requirement that's specific for visa purposes.. Anyway, someone from here also told me that she was able to ask nmc about it and they said to get the subject access.. Cheaper (only £10) but processing time is 40 days. I've applied march 23 and got it first week of may.
Aug 4, 201511 yr @'tianwhere are you based? I think you can.. but note that you can not apply for an RN position here unless you already have a pin. And if you're from the philippines, you might need to go thru an agency to help you get an employer.
Aug 4, 201511 yr @wilfred26nmc does not inform you if they have received your documents or not.. You will only know they have got it If it has already been uploaded on your portal and that's about 15 days after they have received it. Unfortunately, as what nmc emailed diana, they are having technical problems so it may take longer.
Anybody here who took the Pearsons Vue NMC exam? How was it? TY!
