30% for anything after 8pm or any shift where more than half the shift is after 8pm monday - friday

30 % all day saturday

60% all day on sundays and public holidays (day or night)

At the peds hospital where I used to work, the evening shift (3pm-11pm) differential was 9%, and the night shift (11p-7a) differential was 15% over day shift (7a-3p).

I don't do nights, however those that do make $5. Evenings are $2.75 and Weekends $3.25

Wow, those are some high differentials being paid! Our facility pays $2.40 an hour from 1500-2300 and $2.90 an hour from 2300-0700. Weekend differential is $2.40 an hour (on top of the previously mentioned differentials). It adds up to quite a bit! I took a big hit when I moved to days, I miss the extra pay.

Our differentials are pretty good then...

Night weekdays (Mon-Thurs) 7p-11p is 3.35/hr

11p-7a is 5.00/hr

Night weekends (Fri-Sun) 7p-11p is 11.00/hr

11p-7a is 11.35/hr.

any time after 8pm (until you finish your shift) is 25%.

Weekends 50%

Public Holidays 100%
