Nothing more.

How much more do you make with night differential?

30% for anything after 8pm or any shift where more than half the shift is after 8pm monday - friday

30 % all day saturday

60% all day on sundays and public holidays (day or night)

At the peds hospital where I used to work, the evening shift (3pm-11pm) differential was 9%, and the night shift (11p-7a) differential was 15% over day shift (7a-3p).

I don't do nights, however those that do make $5. Evenings are $2.75 and Weekends $3.25

3.25 for nights, and 5.25 for weekends

Wow, those are some high differentials being paid! Our facility pays $2.40 an hour from 1500-2300 and $2.90 an hour from 2300-0700. Weekend differential is $2.40 an hour (on top of the previously mentioned differentials). It adds up to quite a bit! I took a big hit when I moved to days, I miss the extra pay.

$3 for 1900-2300 and $4 more for 1900-0700 and im a CNA.

The places I've worked for had the following:

$4 for 1900-0700

$1 for 1445-0645

Our differentials are pretty good then...

Night weekdays (Mon-Thurs) 7p-11p is 3.35/hr

11p-7a is 5.00/hr

Night weekends (Fri-Sun) 7p-11p is 11.00/hr

11p-7a is 11.35/hr.

any time after 8pm (until you finish your shift) is 25%.

Weekends 50%

Public Holidays 100%

Wow, I never realized there was such a huge difference in these! I guess all of the hospitals in my area pay about the same. (Well, actually they were all recently sued for it, so I know they do!) My hospital's differentials are as follows:

Weekday evenings are $3.75

Weekday nights are $4.75

Weekends (Friday 2300-Sunday 2300) add $4.25 to the above rates

Other hospitals in the area only differ by 50 cents or so from that.

I am curious, are the other's who have posted low differentials or none at all from different areas of nursing? Or just areas with a glut of people who want to work nights and weekends?
