Hi KamiayronLPN,
I, too, am an LPN, and just joined. I'm finding the articles to be enlightening and interesting, to say the least. It gives us a sort of "kinmanship" or feeling of Family, to find like minds in the field of nursing. The LPN/RN are the FRONTLINE to defend the sick and weak we are caring for, and so for that, we ARE the first (often-times) to get the "bullets", or the frustrations of others. On the flip side, having been a nurse since 1985, it has built a whole lot of character in me, and provided a way out of the welfare system for my son and I, once upon a time. Currently, am finding it pure frustration to look for another nursing job... never has it been this hard. Have gotten some certifications of recent, to add to my resume. By the way, if ever re-doing one's resume, look into a computer resume program called WinWay to make your resume doing a snap with all that it offers. All the Best!
Thanks joydriven. I've only been an lpn for about a year and I have felt like we get ALL the flak for mistakes and people always look to us for all the answers. Sometimes it can be overwhelming.
