Where can I find the NET study guide?

(I bought mine off of Ebay, though.)

I don't think it should be that much of a problem to copy the NET study guide if you have someone that is in need. I know that the copyright laws are strict, but if I am correct on my knowledge, the laws mainly apply to copying for profit. If someone is in need and you have what they need, I don't think that should be criticized. I am sorry to get persnickety about this but I did the same for a new friend and I don't feel that I have done anything wrong. God bless and hope to send more notes soon. i found that one of the most important aspects of the net test for me was the reading and as i have told many, i usually love to read, but this test was crazzzyyyy. for all of those that have not taken the net test, please make sure to know the reading sections of the study guide. i hope this helps. good luck to everyone with the test.

Very true....I thought that the reading section was going to be a sinch....then I read about it.

I passed both sections the first time, but it's definitely not your ordinary reading test.

This is why I definitely recommend the NET Study Guide. It tells exactly what to expect from THIS entrance exam.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if NET is timed? if yes, what's the time limit for each section?

And also, I got Cliff's NET preparation book, is it a good one?

There are lots of threads on here about the NET that are really helpful.

In answer to your questions, yes, the NET is timed. There are 60 math questions that you have 60 minutes for and 33 reading questions that you have 30 minutes for.

I have a website that has many links on it for the NET, including these links, and for A&P and Micro and just a few nursing things. I have also posted what all is on the NET, what sections the schools look at and most importantly, the various sciences that are on the test, which a lot of people didn't know about. does NET has questions on Anatomy, Physio and Micro?

I already took Anatomy, but I havent taken Physio and Micro yet.

By the way, are calculator and scratch paper allowed?

Yes, there are Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, Cellular Biology and Chemistry questions on there. Also a section under the Science portion called Test-Taking skills. That one just analyzes what kind of a test taker you are. I forget how many science questions there were, but the 1st time I took it (the whole group that took the NET that semester had to retake due to incorrect version) I missed every one of the sciences, but the next time, I got all the A&P and Bio correct, and most of the Cell. Bio. I had never had Chemistry, so I just made a 70% on it, but it was much better than 0%!!!

I read somewhere that only part of NET (math and English) is counted towards the final score, is that true?

I was looking at the math questions (link you gave me), and they are pretty simple, are the NET math questions similar to that? I mean, were there any, let's say, statistics questions there?

and how many times can you re-take NET?

I just called them, and they told me that only reading and basic math would be counted towards the final score, and also they guy told me that they've taken off addition and subtraction from the test.

and also there will be about 15 basic science questions and the school would look at them (in case if you're accepted), even though they dont count towards the final score.
