If you were escorted out for cheating I highly doubt it

If you're relying on the PVT, that is not an accurate indication of you passing or failing. I don't see how you could pass under the suspicion of cheating, as PPs voiced.

Illogical if you did not finish the exam. Did you get quick results?

How do you pass when you were not permitted to finish the exam? Did you hit 179 and the computer shut off THEN you went to the bathroom?

She said I will not be allowed to return to finish the test. I left. This morning I checked and paid the 8 dollar. I passed. My only worry is the license because you guy said Pearson vue and the board nursing are different. Can I pass and not receive a license?

Yes you can pass and still be denied a license. Passing the NCLEX is one step

This makes absolutely no sense. OP seems to have a language barrier in place which may be further confusing the issue.

1-If the exam is not completed (candidate is not permitted to finish) then they CANNOT PASS the exam. Period.

2- If the exam is completed, and THAT is when the candidate does something stupid, of course it is possible to pass the exam...but then have the BoN deny a license based on the stupid thing you did.

That's really it. If the test was finished and a passing score was received, it is up to the BoN to determine if that matters; they may issue or deny a license based on behavior in the testing center.

I took NCLEX a few years ago. I read fast, and don't suffer text anxiety. (I suffer other anxieties, but not test). I had 75 questions in 15 minutes. At one point, I started to put my hand on my lap, thought better of it, and put it back on the desk. I made sure to flip my hand over so that both sides would be visible to the camera, just so there wouldn't be any question of my cheating. My state participates in quick results, but it took a week, instead of 48 hours, before I could access them. When I called, I was told my test was being reviewed. She made it sound like they were watching the video.

They take the slightest suspicion of cheating very seriously. People's lives depend on us, would you want someone who possibly cheated their way into a license to be responsible in a life determining decision?

You might be interested in knowing that the hold placed on your exam results likely had nothing to do with reviewing any video.

You took a 75 question test in 15 minutes, a VERY short period of time to take (and subsequently pass) the NCLEX. Whenever a candidate takes an unusually short amount of time to test, there is nearly ALWAYS a "hold" placed on those results so an additional Quality Assurance review can be done. ALL exams undergo one QA review in a 24 hour period following the exam (which is why people playing the silly PVT game are foolish to do so before that reviewing period is up).

However, when an exam is flagged for any reason, such as finishing quickly, or taking too many breaks, or standing up when supposed to be sitting down...not raising a hand for something and speaking out loud...MANY things can flag an exam for a review.

Once they are satisfied that the test was valid, it was not compromised with a cheating situation, the results (pass or fail) are released to the BoN. You flipping your hands over and hoping the Eye in the Sky was noticing probably helped ease your mind, which is always good. You just finished fast :)
