Need advice

Hey guys, ok so I need advice . I recently got offered to get payed to stay with my grandparents about 2 hours from where I live.i can stay in the basement which is almost like an apartment. Im literally just gonna get payed for being there, I'm not like really taking care of them, they just like to know someone's there at nightime. At home I work full time at a nursing home,it's backbreaking work and I make alrite money with all the overtime and bonuses. Anyway I went and stayed already at my grandparents house and I was just so bored all the time, but knew I was doing a good thing. So now I'm back at home and came back to the nursing home I worked at previously,it's turned into nightmare since I left. Everyone has quit,we work short everyday, patients is terrible. So my question is am I completely crazy for not knowing if I want to go back and stay with my grandparents (and get paid) fed,pay no bills, and go to school and get help financially from them? The only thing holding me back is I love living with my mom and sister, but I'm accomplishing nothing. But if I stay with my grandparents, I'll be helping them, keeping them company, and going to school. Just need some advice I guess.

Who is paying you to provide care for your grandparents?

The main issue here, is who is your employer.

It's actually my grandparents, cash every week. No taxes on it.

If you could get your college education done and help your grandparents while going to visit your mom and sister often...sounds like an opportunity to take seriously...

I don't see a downside to moving back. You are helping your family and yourself. It's a win win situation.

This. If you are in school then boredom won't be an issue. You'll be too busy to be bored and you will be doing a good thing.

Sounds like a win win

Look around at your options then (and try and job shadow first or volunteer) and make sure the degree you're interested in has actual job opportunities...Good luck!

Thanks you guys for the advice. I decided to go back to my grandparents and stay there. I DO NOT want to see them end up in a nursing home.
