2nd time for NCLEX-RN

Just Retested

Well it's finally over so I hope. I just got done taking the NCLEX-RN for the 2nd time today and I actually felt good about it. The first time I had so much anxiety and sat there and had to take all 265?s... Today I was nervous but prepared to sit for the entire 265 if I had to, well I didn't. I got a little upset when the test didn't shut off at 75, but decided I would take the test in strides 5?s at a time and hope it shuts off soon. 82 was the last question I remember answering and the computer screen blinked and I was thinking please shut off and I hope this isn't my scheduled break. Well it over at 82? and this expereince wasn't nearly as bad. I know most people leave feeling like they failed, but I felt like I passed and can't wait to get my results in 2 days. Hope I'm just not being cocky and it's the truth cause I just can't study anymore for that test. Wish me luck.

Hi Humiliated,

I remember your original post. You've come a long way! I bet you passed. :)

Think about changing your screen name. Maybe "NeverGivesUp" or "Winner2004" or "DeterminationRN"?

:) It's official I passed my boards and I am honored to be a RN. I can't wait to get started working. I've just been sitting at home studying with my cat trying to force myself to study on a regular basis. It was tough but, now it's over and I get to go out into the world and be a working woman. Thanks for the words of encouragement and good luck to those of you who are working on passing. :)

CONGRATULATIONS! Now it is time to change your user name to something more positive! Good luck in job hunting! I am doing the same thing now, too!

Hey...what day did you take your boards and how long was it until you found out? What state are you in? Did you go through pearsonvue.com?

Please let me know. I took my boards on Jan19th at 9am, my computer shut off at 130 and I'm dying to know....Jenn
