i finished the nclex-pn at 154 question....im really stressing out..help!
Stop worrying! It's over now! Not too much you can do about it...but I will give you this: I had 120 questions. I had 2 days of N/V etc...and you don't want that! I still passed and talk about a relief. The NCLEX doesn't go by your number of questions, but if you have proven that you are minimally safe. Here's a tidbit that I've learned, I'm sure how true it is, but here goes..if you think you failed..congrats, because you most likely passed. Keep your head up!

What Makes Nursing Beautiful???
Hello everyone, I am doing a report for school (and I want to make it a good one). If all you nurses out there could respond to the question in title: What makes nursing beautiful? I would greatly appreciate it! I have my own ideas, but I want my piece to be unique! I want to say something for everyone. If you could just take a few moment to post, that would be great! Please reply by Monday, February 13th at 10 pm central time! THanks, Jenn RN

CCRN for NICU nurses
Over the next year, I am planning to accomplish my goals to become CCRN certified. I would like to know if anyone knows of a rewiew for CCRN Neonatal (I know they exist) in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kentucky or Ohio. I've contacted several people and I feel like I'm running in circles with the. Any info would be greatly appreciated. In addition, any good books or prep tips would be helpful as well...hope to hear from you soon! Jenn

How's everyone doing?
If you go to the pearsonvue website, your results will be available EXACTLY 48 hrs from the time you scheduled your test. I'm telling you it's exactly. I know exactly how you feel. Hang in there...it's almost over. I think the waiting is the worst part. I'm sure you'll be checking the computer every 5 minutes. I know that's what I did. Just relax, take a shower and watch tv. I'm sure I'll be calling you RN very soon. Jenn, RN :balloons: :)

How's everyone doing?
I worked everyday up until the day before I took my test. I spent that day studying only until 6pm then quit. I didn't want to freak myself out. I watch 3 hours of tv and went to bed. When I got up the next morning, I ate 3 scrambled eggs, some sausage, and toast with oj. I didn't bring any materials with me to study. I didn't want to have that urge because it will only have created more panic. Before I started studying, I tried to determine my weak points. This way, I was geared to more of a focus. I isolated questions from a disc (i had the nclex made incredibly easy) to determine that. I did all of the ethical quesitons, then the psych, then peds, then maternal, then med/surg. I figured that med/surg needed to be my focus. And that's what I studied. Be sure to use your time wisely and don't let anyone else try to take it from you. This is very important! But also remember not to doubt yourself. This is what you've been waiting for all your life. YOU made it through nursing school, and that IS NOT an easy task. If you need anything, just let me know. Jenn, RN :)
