Nclex

Hi Everyone -

I went today and took my NCLEX exam at 9 am. I am scared to death - I felt like I knew NOTHING!! I walked out of there feeling stupid. THe test shut off at 85 questions - Is this GOOD or BAD?? Is it normal to feel like you knew barely anthing? I talked to one of my friends who also took her exam today and hers shut off at 86. Why one more question? THis is gonna drive me NUTS. Whats the soonest anyone has gotten results?

Help me feel better about this before I have NO more fingernails!!!

I had taken my NCLEX-PN on July 26th, and passed with 85 questions....Much luck to you all that are about to take the NCLEX....

 ;) :monkeydance:

I took mine yesterday, so I wont find out my results until tommorrow. I had 85 questions, so there is a 50/50 chance of passing or failing. Im also scarred to death, but whats done is done. I felt stupid when I walked out. I called my other nursing classmates and told them to study everything. This is something I will never forget. I want to though

When I took the NCLEX mine also shut off at 85..I knew that either I passed it flying colors or flunked it miserably....Well I passed it..Yay. I'm sure you did too..I also had a friend who passed it with 265...As for the study guides- they didn't help at all for the test but it did keep my mind thinking.. thats about it.... I didnt have any questions even similar to the study quide test questions...The NCLEX is the worst beast I ever faced....Good luck to all...:)

Hi Spotts, I Was Wondering If You Can Recall What Kind Of Questions You Got On Your Test? I Am A Nervous Reck, I Do Not Know What To Study, I Hear Alot Of People Say Their Books Did Not Help At All And Others Say Alot Of Qestions With New Meds. Which They Never Learned Or Heard Of?!!

Any Help? Thanks!! And Good Luck!!!

Those of you who have taken your tests already and waiting the restults I wish you nothing but luck. I have not even recieved a date yet for my testing I am nowhere near ready I feel I have no idea what to study lol and I'm freaking out. I hope you all pass let me know the results :)

I passed my nclex. 85 question test. Now I can breath and eat finally. Good luck to all of you waiting to take your test.

Congrats at that. It feels so much better doesn't it.:balloons::balloons::monkeydance:

Well answering this corner and to the posts I made above I PASSSSED :balloons:with flying colors as they say. I had passed at 85. But remember last time I had also 85 and did not. So Im an example that it can go both ways. Of course it can be nerve wracking the wait. I did my very best so that the wait would not drive me crazy and this time it didn't. Work got busy and I would forget about the test. When got home there was more of a chance to think about. Just had to keep myself busy and kept praying and others would too. It was my time to pass. Imagine to hold that paper in your hands telling you HAS PASSED is a very good feeling. Good luck to you!!

I took mine today as well. This is the second time I have taken it  The first time it stopped at 86 questions and this time it stopped at 96 questions. I'm so nervous I think I might vomit. I can't afford to fail it again. Has anyone passed with 96 questions?:o

Sit back and relax!!! You nailed it. I have not heard anyone fail at 85.

What was different for you taking this test compared to the first time? Did you study something different? I took my test today and it stopped at 85 so I don't know whether to feel good or bad about it. I had a lot of prioritizing as well as meds and no med calculation. I answered 6000+ questions of Saunders and 145 of Kaplan. I felt that Kaplan helped me more than Saunders because it was formatted like the NCLEX computer.

How many questions did you have? I took mine this morning at 9 and my comp shut down at 85 and I had 5 choose all that apply.
