Nclex meltdown!!!

My RN-test stopped at 75 Q! I think i had about 10+ select all that apply and 10+ meds. These questions kept alternating in between the other multiple choice questions. I had no med calc; 1 ekg. I felt like my entire exam was entirely based on these 2 types of questions. What does this mean? Am i not competent enough so they keep giving me those questions OR are the questions considered to be the higher type? HELP!!!! Reading other people's posts is driving me crazy because i think i might FAIL. I had a hunch that the comp might shut down at 75 and it did. Makes me feel very discouraged.

Anyone out there has the same format and passed?

I felt the same way, it shutdown on 75! I thought I failed, but I passed. I hope u pass!!!

Do NOT STRESS! You and I, we had a similar format test and I expected it to shut off at 75 and IT DID! The waiting is definitely the hardest part but nothing to fret over. It's done for now. You've done your part. Way to go!

I took the NCLEX on the 30th, and my test was very similar to yours. I had 75 questions: 6+ select all that apply, tons of meds, teaching, and lots of infection control/TB. I actually got the same question twice with different answer choices. I was for sure that I had failed - I had my husband and my whole family depressed because I told them I knew I failed...but I passed!!!! So I know it's hard, but don't stress! Good luck - I hope you passed!!

I took mine last year, but I felt the same way. It shut down at 75, I felt

that so many of the questions were either an educated guess between the best of the 2 options I hadn't ruled out, and I also felt that some of the questions were a pure WAG. (Wild A Guess)

I walked out of the test sure I failed.

I passed.

I almost fainted.

Let us know how you did! *fingers toes, and all other crossable bits crossed!)

I think the few days when you are waiting for NCLEX results are more nervewracking than all of nursing school!

And seriously. If the worst comes to be, and you didn't pass the first time, don't beat yourself up too much. The nurs I admire most on my unit, who I go to if I have to make a judgement call or if I have a question, oh, and did I mention that she's the charge nurse?

She didn't pass the first time.

But I really really hope you do!!!!!!!!!!!!
