My test stopped at 75

I am not sure if it's a good sign or not. From the very beginning, I knew for sure that my test would stop at 75. And it did.

I took the exam on Feb. 20~two days ago. And I really think I am putting my husband and my kids into hell. I am so axious abou the result. Even though my husband keeps telling me it's ok if I fail, I just can't help myself from thinking about it.

To tell the truth, I don't think the questions as hard as I thought. The first questions and the last ones were easier than the middle ones. I had 3 to 4 "check all that apply" questions, tons of priority, no calculations.

Right now, all I can do is pray and keep myself distract, not to ckeck the CA BRN website all the time.

Hi

Welcome to the site, Well from what I read it sounds like you pass, bc you had a ton of priority questions that's what you want

Don't worry everyone walks out of the test feeling like they didn't pass you are not alone this site, just put your trust in the lord and he will deliever, and have faith you will never leave you or forsake you.

NCLEX 2/28/06 here I come

Will keep you in prayer.

IMMORTAL

Jesus is LORD!! and His Grace is sufficient...My prayers are with you for The 28th...

and for aLL WRITING THEIR NCLEX!!

Stop worrying, my test stopped at the minimum also..I got up and left when many of the ones who were in there when I sat down, were still testing. It made me physically sick. I just knew I had failed. Then to make matters worse, the day I expected to see my license on the BON site...it wasn't there. For some reason the site didn't get updated that day. But I did pass. I know exactly what you are going through...I'd bet you passed.

Actually, I passed the exam. Thanks, anyway.:)

I believe, and this is only my opinion, that if you stop at 75, chances are greater that you passed. If on the other hand, you fail at 75, that means you've absorbed nothing of nursing school, and you would have had to answer most of the 75 questions wrong.

If I am wrong, I would love to hear from people who failed at 75. The majority of the posters taking the NCLEX and getting to 75 only have passed.

Hi SarasotaRn

Jesus Is love, one question that I want to ask is if you took your exam yet?

What you just said was really negative, and discourage those that did not pass with 75 who are trying to retake. You must be careful we are here to encourage and not discourage each other. I ask again that you use your words kindly.

Jesus Is Lord

How is that negative? I'm just saying that the majority of posters and people that I know who have taken the test and stopped at 75 have passed.

I think it was more of an encouragement to the OP, not discouragement. I have yet to see someone fail at 75.

Take a chill pill!

Hi Sarasota,

What I was say was out of love and I still stand by what I said, you must use and think about what you say before you say it. There are many that don't pass with 75 questions that I know of and they abosrb everything and they can break it down in simplitic terms for anyone. You did not answer my question have you taken your exam.

You have a bless day. I'll take your chill pill I need it.

the only thing I see as a negative would be that you implied that just because you fail at 75 means you absorbed nothing. I dont believe this to be true. For example: what about all the nursing students that have test axiety! that was the only thing I see that a few could take as negative.

the only reason it is a sensitive topic is cause somehow this test can be perceived as cut and dry good or not good as a nurse and that simply is not true!
