My study partner failed. We were really good study buddies and she was like a sister to me. I'm just so sad and needed to vent. She has helped me so much through peds and now I have to continue on without her. I know God will continue to get me through. It was just really nice having someone who was really knowledgeable and a good critical thinker to study with. Just needed to get that off my chest.
Happy studying everyone... Counting down to December....

:hgu: *hugs* I know I have only just started and a few of us have formed a little study group and i know I will take it really hard if any one in our little group doesnt make it. It's hard, and no one outside nursing school can understand how you can be so close to someone who is "just" a classmate and study partner.

I'm sorry to hear. Our little trio jokes that if one person fails a semester, we all fail together. It wouldn't be the same sitting at our usual table with an empty chair
She was really my only study partner. I hoping that I find another person to who is strong in critical thinking to study with. It may just be me, but I think I have a good study regimen going.

I feel so sorry for you! I know exactly how that feel- my best friend in the course left the program... and a gaping hole in my heart

So sorry to hear this and I know how you feel. The same thing happened to me and I have a hard time studying without her:confused:

I hate watching friends fail out of the program. It's hard. Even people I am not close with... if they leave, I feel a twinge. I feel like as a class we have come so far together, it is hard to see one of us fail.

It's hard to see people fail.
You know it could be you at anytime.
With all the blood, sweat and tears put into it... man!
I lost study buddies... and study buddies lost me.
I'm sure your friend wants nothing more than to see you succeed. Hang in there!

I have been very fortunate to keep the 2 close friends I have. We have lost about 1/3 of our students. There is one girl in the class though that had a really close group of friends. There was 5 of them total. 1 of them I can't lie, I wasn't sad to see her go at all. Much of the class felt the same way. But I felt really bad for this girl. Of the 5 girls she is the only one left. All of her close friends had failed by the end of second semester. Another girl lost her 2 best friends after 1st semester.
