I made flashcards because we also had to know the muscle name, insertion, origin and action. The hardest ones are the ones in the forearm...

Hold on, your test is Saturday and you're just now looking for study tips? I don't really want to be negative, but if you are just now starting to study, I don't think anything can help you.

I wouldn't say the muscle test is the hardest, but it is the most time consuming. I made my flashcards for it at the beginning of that semester, and studied 3 cards a day until the test. This was in the span of 8-10 weeks, so I made sure I was ready for the test because I knew it wasn't a test you could cram for and plan to make an A on.

I agree the muscles were difficult. I just got my test grade back today and I made a 93. I would have done better, but the pictures were sketches and they did look somewhat different than in our book.

I must say this, I wonder if I am learning all I will need to know. I didnt have to know functions, etc. like so many are having to learn. :uhoh3: All I had to know was where they were.

I couldn't help but think the same thing. Maybe this person knows more already than he or she thinks. (I hope!)

I made my own quizzes (powerpoint & other) to help study all of A&P 1 & 2.

Good luck. I really do hope you have most of it learned already.

Just play around with a program for a while, you'll get the hang of it. ?

my only suggestion is to look at lots of different pictures if you don't have access to the ones that will be used for your test. We were tested on cadavers so it is a bit different....

I was an anatomy TA and the easiest and BEST way for my students to study was 1) using index cards to memorize each muscle with its origin and insertion. 2) The best is on a human cadaver with the TA going over it, over and over. If you have a good memory, you can pull the exam off by Saturday:) good luck

Whats great about the ADAM software is- you can print out pictures from it. I printed them out and colored them with colored pencils. Then I made flashcards.. You will do fine...Study like you always do.. :>
