Missed allnurses.com so much!

A couple of weeks ago we had a house fire and lost everything. We are all ok as well as our dogs and tortoise! I just got a used computer and internet this evening. I can't believe how much I missed everyone here. I couldn't wait to log on and catch up with all of the threads. You all can't imagine how happy I am at this very moment :redbeathe

I am devastated that you lost many things, and also touched that you are grateful for the small things in life...interactions with people who care, and another thing that is not small is the survival of your loved ones and pets. That alone can let you know that life is worth living and there can still be alot to be grateful for in spite of the circumstances. Welcome back and hope you can start anew!

I'm sorry to hear about your fire, my SIL and her family lost everything in a fire too. Things will get better, I assure you. As long as you and your loved ones got out, everything else can be replaced. Good to see you back!!
