ours school requires A & P 1 as a pre req as well....i did 1 last semester..

I'm sure you're more prepared for it than you think then. For my class, the first half of the semester dealt more w/ terms and structures of microbes. The 2nd half dealt more w/ the major diseases and infections so the teacher was really referring to A&P during those lectures.

Also-- if you're a visual learner, there are TONS of videos on Youtube referring to life cycles of various organisms.

Mine was set up like that too. I found the hardest part the pharmacology of it.. having to learn which antibiotics were the DOC for what types of bacteria.. how they worked, etc. I'm not looking forward to pharmacology in nursing school at all.

It's all about the teacher. I actually enjoyed the harder teachers and felt I learned more.

Micro was as close to fun as I can get while shelling out money for tuition and listening to one person talk for hours.

I, myself, found Micro a breeze compared to A&P 1 and 2. I got A's in all 3 classes, but wayyyyy more studying went into the anatomies. =) guess everyone is different though
