  1. My group and I sit front and center:yeah:We dont want to miss anything:confused:
  2. I enjoyed A&P but it will consume alot of time studying. There is alot of memorization involved. Review what you learn everyday and make lots of copies of the things you need to label such as muscles bones, etc. I used sooooo much laser toner that quarter but it really helped to get it into my head. I started out with the notecards but I never really got into those, most of my friends use em tho=) Good luck and study hard
  3. Im entering clinicals in the fall and I am a fulltime employed wife and mother of 4. 2 of my kids are older teens but my girls are 8 and 11. I can do this and so can you! We deserved to be fulfilled also =)
  4. I took hybrid micro back in the spring and it wasnt hard at all. But then again I have a real gift for memorizatioin. To me the class was much easier than A&P requiring much less study time. I also have done math online in the past and those classes usually include some time of online lab that is super helpful. I will tell you that in my experience the online classes are more time consuming and contain more written assignments. Good luck in your decision=)
  5. Personally i wouldnt concern myself with taking Spanish, but if its important to you then go for it. As far as the load, i have been overloading for 3 quarters up until now with a full time job and 4 kids. Some can do it and others cannot. We all have different gifts in life =) U sound very intelligent, I think that you can handle that load=)
  6. Congratulations!!!
  7. Hi! I will be 41 in September and I have been accepted into my schools nursing program for the fall!! You can do this if its what you truly want! You only live once, fulfill your dreams.
  8. Retake any classes that you can but the nursing program at CTC only accepts the new grade if the class was first taken before a certain year. Maybe check with the department for details. I think the year was 2006 but Im not certain. I retook an English that i had previously taken back in 1989 and they accepted the new grade. Submit with your packet your very best scores. Take the NLN and compass more than once if needed. I went in there with a 4.0, 98 NLN and both 99s on the compass and i made it in. It is extremely competitive so do your very best! Several of my friends did not make it in with me =( so I'm looking forward to making some new ones at orientation on the 15th. Best of luck Jessica and work hard =) you can do it!
  9. just found out we will graduate in 2012 December. I have done clinicals before but it has been 20 years ago. I had to quit 3 weeks before graduation because my son was born months early =( So here i go again many many years later!! lol

I, myself, found Micro a breeze compared to A&P 1 and 2. I got A's in all 3 classes, but wayyyyy more studying went into the anatomies. =) guess everyone is different though
  11. I own a gym and tanning salon and I will be selling it as soon as possible. Until that time, my oldest son will run the business for me.
  12. Just out of curiosity. How many semesters do you attend clinicals? I will be starting the program in the fall of this year. I am in the ADN program. Thanks!
  13. Im accepted into Columbus Technical college!! I had a 4.0 GPA and a 98 on the NLN. Im excited to meet all of my new friends there =)
  14. Im in!!! Got my letter today!!!!!!!!:yeah:Good luck to the others waiting!
  15. I am nervous also. I hear maybe this week on the letters.
